Delita is really damn happy with himself in regards to Matsumoto. Not because he's at peace with her or even just that he can see her again, no, those kinds of feelings are too plebeian for him. Delita is proud of himself because he can see, much clearer now than ever before, how Matsumoto 'works.' He knows when she's lying, when to steer a conversation in a certain direction, and when to let her think he's still got a puppy crush on her. Basically, Delita believes he has Matsumoto wrapped around his finger, and that she is pretty easily manipulated now, for his needs ( ... )

MULTIPLE COMMENTS INCOMING MY GOD WHY AM I SUCH A WHORE FOR YOUR CHARACTERS

So a lot of what I could say about Raph and Axel, I'd be repeating from our many conversations and essays I've written and answers to other memes. But the basic rundown is this:
  • Raphael is a whore.
  • Raphael is emotionally inept.
  • Raphael does not meet many people he is not only insanely attracted to, but also connects with on emotional levels that sometimes surpass even his relationship with Mika.
  • Raphael bottoms.
  • Raphael is Axel's bitch forever.
  • For-freaking-ever.
AND I THINK THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP. At some point Raph thought to himself that Axel means as much to him as Rue and Mika do, maybe even more, and it fucks with his head in epic ways, but there's no way he's pushing Axel away anymore. He could not physically force himself to, not seriously. He could make weak attempts at trying to distance himself from Axel (and likely will, in the future) but will know that they're pretty much just for show, now. Axel has him by the balls and isn't letting go, and ( ... )

To Ten-chan, Yuki is pretty much a classic textbook case of abuse. Physical scars, mental scars, emotional neglect, etc. Despite all of that, Yuki is a good person, tries to be polite and lives a good life. This is more than what Ten-chan can say about some of the abused children he's likely worked with (abuse is frequent in several cases that the pet shop's been involved in) and for that, Ten-chan sees that strength of Yuki's is a virtue, one he should never take for granted. Ten-chan encourages this, and encourages Yuki whenever he can to be proud of who he is: a human being, no less deserving than any other human on the planet.

Tetsu-chan~~~~~ It's actually kind of difficult to describe how Ten-chan thinks of his fellow animals, but I'll do my best.

If Ten-chan treated his fellow pets differently than he treats normal humans, I think we'd see a much different side of him. But as it is, he doesn't, not really. He's still very secretive, very mysterious, and very teasing, even towards his co-workers; he knows that doesn't win him any brownie points, but Tetsu is one of the more 'human' of the animals that he's known over the years. Tetsu was and still is attached to Chris (and Leon, don't deny it) and Ten-chan thinks this is fascinating. Seeing pets in the shop go native is not something that happens very often, I would think, and Tetsu has wonderful reactions to things, and that makes him really unique in Ten-chan's eyes. So he likes keeping an eye on him, talking to him, poking him, seeing how he reacts to things. Cause Ten-chan doesn't have Tetsu completely figured out but sees him as someone who needs guidance, the kind of guidance that the pet shop is ( ... )
