Some of you were there when I asked Bob Barr about immigration at the TAS Summer Seminar. The context was his talk on privacy, wherein he spoke on the Real ID bill -- a virtual national ID card. Do you know of any somewhat prominent politicians, or entrepreneurs/celebrities with the ability to become prominent politicians, who meet this criteria?

I can't think of any who are both positive and pro-liberty. There are a few who I vaguely think *might* be, like Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal. But I don't know all that much about them, and my impression is mostly based on wishful thinking.

The only one I can think of is Former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson.

Tom Palmer of the Cato Institute is great. Of course, openly homosexual won't run well nationally.

Ron Paul was obviously tired and lethargic in several NH and MA functions my friends saw him at.
