Some of you were there when I asked Bob Barr about immigration at the TAS Summer Seminar. The context was his talk on privacy, wherein he spoke on the Real ID bill -- a virtual national ID card. Do you know of any somewhat prominent politicians, or entrepreneurs/celebrities with the ability to become prominent politicians, who meet this criteria?

I can't think of any who are both positive and pro-liberty. There are a few who I vaguely think *might* be, like Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal. But I don't know all that much about them, and my impression is mostly based on wishful thinking.

The only one I can think of is Former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson.

If you google Bobby Jindal exorcism many hits come up.

It would be interesting to look at the editing history of the wikipedia page to see if someone from the governor's office (or elsewhere) has been deleting this little anecdote.
