It's days like today that I enjoy this place, even with the hardships it presents. It's cold, but I'm safe inside. I have the Christmas plants to care for, both mine and brother's, so I'm without boredom. I'm fed, brother has kept me safe, and I have no complaints worth voicing ( Read more... )

[It's her coping mechanism. Forcing happiness, seeing the best in things, it's a way for her to feel safe in a very dangerous world.]

I hope so... He's strong, he'll take care of himself.

[Her tone isn't as strong as she'd like it to be when she says that. She's worried about him, and she misses him.]

[Credo knows and finds her to be quite strong for it. Many would crumble under the weight of danger and fear here... yet no matter what, Kyrie seems to hold out. Even in her physical weakness, her mind, heart and soul are strong.]

He will, Nero is resilient and not one to let things overcome him so easily. I have faith he'll do the same even now.

[Credo tries to make up for her wavering tone, sounding like he means every word and has no lack of faith that Nero is perfectly fine. When in reality, he is afraid for the boy... but we can't let Kyrie see or hear that.]
