Face was a huge slut. He went around slutting it up everywhere like a huge slut and everyone was all like "Oh, face... you slut.". One day, Face sat down on a bench, EXCEPT THE BENCH WAS A PENIS, OH!!!!

Laiden - Pride

It wasn't entirely normal, Laiden thought, but nothing about his life had been normal. He doubted it ever would be.

But right then, in that moment, as he watched Seth gunning down his enemies, he couldn't help but feel a little warm inside.

The smell of blood was thick and heavy in the air, mingled with the scent of fear, panic and anger, and Laiden stood back and watched as men fell all around him. He sniffed as each new round of ammunition was emptied and each new victim fell to the floor with a scream or agonised gurgle. The animal inside reared its head at the heady aroma of blood all around him, and it was only his pride and fascination that kept him from lapping it up.

Yes, he thought, as he watched the gun recoil in Seth's slender fingers, it was indeed a proud moment.

It's a good thing Laiden is proud of Seth's mobbiness, because he hates his eyeliner otherwise it would be an awkkkkward relationship :3

I love little shades-of-grey Laiden and Seth. Not wholly evil, but certainly not good. It's adorable how they can find love and pride in each others badness as well as goodness.

Raoul stumbled back, eyes momentarily wide in genuine surprise. He'd heard of the kid's ability, but he'd never expected it to be so strong. Thankfully, his higher-ups had sent him in prepared. The metal plates hidden under his vest and wrapped around each shin had absorbed most of the electricity, but what they hadn't absorbed had shot through every nerve ending like a thousand shards of ice
