This is wonderfully written. It's really ... efficient? Like, not a single word, phrase, or sentence is out of place. With most fics, I kind of read a little bit, alt-tab, then come back, etc etc., but with this one, I had to read from beginning to end. Often going back up to re-read something I had missed the first time. I couldn't stop reading, it all just flowed so nicely that I never wanted to slow down or quit until I reached the very end ( ... )

Oh man. That... those last few sentences in the second to last section seriously got me. Interesting take on Shouichi Irie's position, too.

Anyway, wonderful speculation on all the possibilities of his character, here. Not to mention the metaphors fit gloriously, though it's ironic that this gets posted the same day someone bitches about the overuse of flower cliches on F!S, ahahahah.
