This is wonderfully written. It's really ... efficient? Like, not a single word, phrase, or sentence is out of place. With most fics, I kind of read a little bit, alt-tab, then come back, etc etc., but with this one, I had to read from beginning to end. Often going back up to re-read something I had missed the first time. I couldn't stop reading, it all just flowed so nicely that I never wanted to slow down or quit until I reached the very end.

I really love the flower/empire analogy. It's perfectly fitting and while the idea may seem corny, the execution was flawless. XD Also I liked how very clearly Byakuran's personality comes through in everything that's said, even though it's in third person. I never really cared about Byakuran much, nor did I understand him, but reading this makes me feel like I know him just a little bit better. And the last four lines were absolutely perfect, wrapped things up very nicely.

ARGH now you have me in a writing mood. This was soooo good. @___@
