I have been thinking a lot about love over the past several days, and, y'know, worrying (per usual, for me) about people I've hurt in the past.
Then I logged onto LJ this morning, and first up on my friends page was this poem:

I love TinyBuddha.com. I am pasting directly from their site because today's thought is something that I need to be reminded of often: not to make snap judgments, or hold people's past actions against them. I would just like to note that last night and this morning, I went through my LJ and made a lot of posts that were previously "Friends Only" or "Everyone" (visible to) viewable only to myself. So don't think that I have excluded you personally or anything. I go through and do that from time to time. Just for the record.

i'm quite happy to say that the sneetches got really quite smart on that day.
I got new glasses yesterday. They are pretty snazzy. (I had to get new ones because Jackass with a Crowbar stole mine. May we call him that, please?)
Good coffee, The Stones, and of course the love of friends/family are keeping me going. I also have an appointment with Daybreak a week from today and a trip to the beach with Susan this weekend ( ( Read more... ) -

Mary Mac spent the night with me last night. We ate pasta and drank some wine that she brought (from Morgan Creek Winery in Shelby County). busy lazy weekend.
My "lazy weekend" was actually pretty busy. The large gap in my life left by school was quickly filled in with family, chores, and drama.
I'm not complaining. :)
I am too tired / hungry (even though it's not even 11:30! what the hell, stomach?) to type everything in detail, so here's a list of the important things that happened:

i love the fact that...
my dog doesn't look at me like I'm crazy when I dance around the house to "Shakedown on 9th Street." On the contrary, she gets all excited and wants to play, too!
This is the best I've felt since before noon yesterday -- i.e. before the MASSIVE headache that ate up my entire afternoon and evening, as well as the greater part of today. Damn sinuses.

friend dates.
Just a few things.
-- I feel like a janitor now because I have entirely too many keys on my keyring. The guys at WN gave me copies of the 3 office keys, and while I hate clutter, I am super-excited about this. Week #1 of working only for WN really well. :) Life is good, work-wise.
