Played Pandemic again a few weeks back. Just WW and I were there; we took two roles each. We very nearly won, but just before we could find that final cure we got hit by a couple of chain-reaction outbreaks, and it was all over.

Last night, we started out with five intrepid adventurers. Me, of course, A and her roommate K, Chien and his GF R. R evidently is done with class for now. We wound up playing two card games which I had never heard of before, one of which is pretty new and one of which is fairly old.

Last Thursday, we had a pleasant surprise. Aliza showed up again! This was pleasant because she had some very significant health issues come up suddenly a month or so ago. She was there with her roommie K, and Chien was there as well.

Tonight was a little bit different. The game company Days of Wonder held a special event at AOL's West Coast headquarters in Silicon Valley. I signed up, because I like their games and they were offering free food and drink.
