Making progress on the car, again. Now that I'm basically over the week-long cold or flu. And now that the wife has threatened to have the car towed out of the garage so she can use it again.
Transmission back in with the grease my mechanic gave me on the parts that it's supposed to be on. Still can't get the starter on; one of the bolts just spins and spins. I've got a couple of ideas on that front; hopefully my mechanic will be able to help with that. Found the gaskets I need in my parts stash.
Tomorrow, off to the mechanic's to return his special grease, and get the starter bolt dealt with (hopefully). Also stopping at The Barn to get the special expensive transmission oil to fill up the rebuilt trans.
