Phase: 1/2 waning; the moon continues to dim as it slowly darkens into the night sky.
Weather: A dry cold has set in, making the low temperatures and harsh winds even more unbearable. However, the freak blizzard from before has disappeared completely, and snow only falls every so often.
Effects: No other effects other than what is noted below.
Notes: Somarium has frozen over! There's not much to note, but here are the following effect:

Notes: Somarium has frozen over! There's not much to note, but here are the following effect:
- Covered in black ice. That's right, not only is everything frozen, but the ice is black. Strange, isn't it? The buildings, the streets, the foliage, every large body of water-the only things not frozen are living creatures. However, how long that will last with even the grass covered in ice is questionable. Even the floating mountain is covered in ice, and some may hear ominous creaks; as if the weight of the ice is trying to bring it down. Indoors remain normal, so no one has to worry about waking up in a room full of icicles.
- Heating still works. Mostly, anyway. While it is safe to go outside, should characters wish to stay indoors they will find that the current heating system and other heat sources will be working just fine. Fires can be made inside fireplaces, as well as outside. However...
- Ice meltable, but will freeze again. For those who try to break or melt the ice, either by magical or natural means, they will have some mild success. The ice will break and melt, but after random periods of time it will freeze back over. The longest it will stay broken or melted is forty-five minutes.
- The dream... What could it mean? Characters are free to stipulate what meaning, if any, it could have.
For those who are new, this is a good time as any to give a fair warning that Somarium is once again taking on the plot. However, we're doing this gradually like always. This process will continue with a new addition and another minor event next week to lead up to the final larger event during the week of the New Moon.
After that week, things will once again settle down, but we will still continue with the plot. We are still trying to balance those who want to work with the plot more and those who, while don't mind the plot, also want to stay more on the sidelines. Of course there are times when an event may involve the whole game base, but we try to keep options out there for those who don't want to be too actively involved.
