Home is where your heart is. One of the many lines Allen found himself agreeing with ever since meeting Mana and then once again when arriving at the Order (Kanda incident aside of course). So then why was he sneaking into the front yard, trying to be as silent as possible? The answer was simple enough. He'd done it again. Well he didn't have any say in the matter but it didn't change that he'd managed to do the one thing he promised to not do again since that incident with the Yeti. He left Lenalee alone. Well that ass, Kanda was there and Kirby too but bottom line is he'd gone from her sight without saying a word. It was surreal and if he wasn't used to all sorts of flashes and visions in his mind, these memories of his past self would have probably driven him close to insanity.
There was one major impediment in his way to sneaking inside the premises. No there was no dog to bark at his arrival though Timcampy had not been around him when he woke up in the dingy hotel room and unless he was eaten by a cat again, he had to be here. The real problem was the skull splitting headache he had ever since coming to his senses. The source of that pain was not unknown though. He remembered every word and every action he did. That in turn meant he remembered every time he had said the *D word* with no reaction from his trauma. Now all of those reactions had piled up into one enormous migraine. With a bit of difficulty, Allen made his way over the fence and eyed the house. He couldn't make out anyone a the windows and that was a good thing for his plan. He slowly made his way towards east part of the house and crouched under the window. After calming down a few minutes and forcing the pain in his head to let up just a bit, Allen slowly looked up over the window sill.
Only to come face to face with a golden winged ball with its fangs bared menacingly. Oh no. Before Allen could say anything the small golem zoomed away from the window and upstairs to Lenalee's room. If the door had been locked, the golem looked as if it would blast straight through in his hurry. But instead he merely used his tail and threw the door open before dashing inside and wrapping his tail around Lenalee's hand, pulling her towards the door urgently.
