"Aqua," Serenity's voice was soft to break Aqua away from her thoughts. She smiled as she watched the younger girl. They reached the manor, light seeming to emit from it. It seemed to pulse in tandem with Serenity's own light, as if the manor and Serenity's light were one and the same. Perhaps they were. She opened the large double doors.

"We're here. I can give you a tour if you wish..." she turned to look at the grand entry hall and smiled. "But I think you may wish to wait just a little bit."

It was a welcome interruption -- one met with a smile so eager that she surprised herself.

Admittedly, a tour would have probably been absolutely fascinating -- there was an unfamiliar bit of energy in the air that she would love to explore with a few experimental spells...

... All in good time. The compelling possibilities of the new world's enchantment paled in comparison to the prospect of seeing that Terra was safe.

A slow, meaningful nod was given to her gracious hostess.
"You're right... I'll wait. Is Terra... home?"

"He might be. I do not restrict when you come or go. But we shall see. Maybe he is in the kitchen," she giggled as she gently rested a hand on Aqua's elbow and guided her inside. "You are my guest and whilst I will not demand anything of you, if ever you have any trouble, you may always come to me, Aqua. I will listen or do what I can."

[Following closely, naturally. And trying desperately not to visibly shudder when she's touched. Pure heart is mind-numbingly pure.]

If you don't mind me asking... How long have you been taking care of Terra this way?

[Once Serenity had given him the news that Aqua had arrived, Terra was more than a bit anxious to see her again. They'd talked about so much before she had left the first time.... now he didn't exactly know how to approach her. Would she remember anything? If not, what did she know now?

He had been waiting, pacing through his room at Serenity's mansion for quite a while. Finally, he opened the door and stepped out. It was in time to hear Aqua's voice floating up from downstairs. He dashed to the stairs and went down, only slowing down once that familiar head of blue hair was in his sight.]

Aqua! [He stopped behind her.]

[The blue hair was not exactly stationary once he happened upon it. In fact, she'd taken on a slow, pensive pace there 'round the corner from the base of the stairs. Pacing, as she had always been taught, was a poor, restless habit for a lady to take on -- but if ever there was an appropriate situation that would cause for a bit of unladylike discomfort... This was it.

'Put an end to me.'

The phrase, voiced once by Ventus and then by Terra, was turned over again and again and once more in her mind as she waited, face painted in a somewhat dire but otherwise unemotive expression.

... Until her name was called out, anyway.]

[Promptly turning on her heel, the distance between the two of them was closed by two long strides, and she wasted no time in placing a hand on his unarmored shoulder and leaning in closely to scrutinize his face.]

Are you alright? ... What's happened?

[kindofearthy]

[Leans back juuuust a bit under Aqua's scrutiny, blinking his blue eyes a few times.]

I'm fine... I've been in this world for the past six months or so. I was waiting for you to come back.
