[Once Serenity had given him the news that Aqua had arrived, Terra was more than a bit anxious to see her again. They'd talked about so much before she had left the first time.... now he didn't exactly know how to approach her. Would she remember anything? If not, what did she know now?

He had been waiting, pacing through his room at Serenity's mansion for quite a while. Finally, he opened the door and stepped out. It was in time to hear Aqua's voice floating up from downstairs. He dashed to the stairs and went down, only slowing down once that familiar head of blue hair was in his sight.]

Aqua! [He stopped behind her.]

[The blue hair was not exactly stationary once he happened upon it. In fact, she'd taken on a slow, pensive pace there 'round the corner from the base of the stairs. Pacing, as she had always been taught, was a poor, restless habit for a lady to take on -- but if ever there was an appropriate situation that would cause for a bit of unladylike discomfort... This was it.

'Put an end to me.'

The phrase, voiced once by Ventus and then by Terra, was turned over again and again and once more in her mind as she waited, face painted in a somewhat dire but otherwise unemotive expression.

... Until her name was called out, anyway.]

... Terra!

[Promptly turning on her heel, the distance between the two of them was closed by two long strides, and she wasted no time in placing a hand on his unarmored shoulder and leaning in closely to scrutinize his face.]

Are you alright? ... What's happened?

[kindofearthy]

[Leans back juuuust a bit under Aqua's scrutiny, blinking his blue eyes a few times.]

I'm fine... I've been in this world for the past six months or so. I was waiting for you to come back.

[keystorm]

[Slowly, steadily, her gaze drops to the floor. Six months. She falls silent for a moment after that, remembering what else she'd been told -- about the world being one of dreams. Of her 'dream' self.

It shouldn't be a surprise to see that he's unharmed, if that's really the case. The relief she'd hoped for doesn't come as quickly as she hoped it would, but then again...

She straightens up a little and takes a half-step away, regaining her composure.]

... When did I disappear?

I think it was.... about two months ago. [He's been counting.]

And then Ven left a little while after you did.

[The same thought is revisited. A world of dreams... Why wouldn't the three of them inhabit that world happily together? She dreams about that all the time.]

[Does Terra know? Then again... maybe now isn't the time. She drifts to the left somewhat until she's leaning against the wall of the hallway, pursing her lips thoughtfully.]

Well... Here I am again. Maybe that means that he'll be returning soon, too.

[Ven's... coming here. This really is a dream.

Frowning slightly, there's a low, quiet laugh... just at the absurdity of it all.]

That's... great! I...

[Looking all about in barely subdued excitement. He's fine...
They're both fine.]

... Should we wait for him in the main hall?

[Aqua's reaction has Terra a bit curious and worried. Not that he wasn't excited to see Ven too, but Aqua is acting relieved. Now he has to wonder if something had happened the Ven.

The kid did seem awfully groggy when they talked.]

Sure, then he won't have to wander around looking for us.

[There's plenty of validity in Terra's feelings. Plenty. But if there's a possibility that Ventus is awake -- groggy, incoherent or otherwise -- then she's all over it. There will be time for questions and answers on both ends after the fact, she's sure, but for now... she'll be giving Terra a firm, serious nod before gesturing lightly in the direction of the manor's entrance. Or... at least... what she recalls to be the direction from whence she'd entered with Serenity.]
