Lacus opened her eyes when she heard a voice calling out to her. "Huh?" she turned towards the voice curious to know if the person was either friend or foe. Lacus wrapped her arms around herself. She was already feeling the cold. What did she have to lose? "Hello to you too," she smiled back.
The woman did not seem dangerous or an enemy. Despite the freezing cold and the elements, she smiled politely and grateful for her assistance. "Thank you so much. I would like that very much... I seem to be a little lost."
She got under the umbrella but began to look very worried. "May I ask? Where... is this? Is this...Earth?"
Lacus blinked away a few drops of rain from her eyes. This weather was so unusual. She saw the blond girl sigh, but it only confused her further. Had she said something wrong? Was she not on Earth after all? A new colony perhaps. "Thank you," she whispered softly as she draped the jacket around her shoulders.
The jacket helped a bit, but it still left a lot of questions unanswered. "Somarium? I have never heard of a place named Somarium before. Is this a new co---?" She stopped herself. The lady was right. It was best that she reserved her question until they got to shelter. "You are right. But, please answer my questions then?" Lacus then followed her to a safer location.
Kaname had left the tavern sometime ago with the intention of finding Yuuki in the village. She's tried her phone a few times, but it always went straight to voicemail. Pulling out his Dreamberry, he decided to call her again.
When the familiar message could be heard, followed by a BEEEEP, he hesitated before finally leaving her a message.
It was then that he heard a woman's voice and looked up. At first, he thought he recognized the young woman as Euphemia li Britannia, but at a closer look he saw that their builds were a little different and so were their features.
Lucky her... showing up just in time for the show, he thought wryly.
Taking a few steps closer, his voice rose above the impending storm.
Lacus tried pulling her hair up into a ponytail to keep her long hair away from her face. She had not experienced weather this intense before. Maybe it was because most of her life she had lived in the PLANTS. If she knew this was going to happen, maybe she would have brought an umbrella.
After praying, she moved on knowing that she should find shelter or find someone who can help her at least.
She tried calling out again, hoping that this time someone would answer but before she could another voice answered. It was a voice that was not familiar to her, but it never even occured to her that she was in any danger. She answered back, "Yes, I am." She was shivering from the cold but she still found her situation worth smiling about.
"I'm sorry to be a bother, but if it isn't too much trouble," she clasped her hands together and closed her eyes. "Can you show me to a place with shelter? If you can I will be eternally grateful."
The sky didn't look like it was going to improve any time soon.
Kaname eyed her, skimming her physical state from head to toe. She didn't seem to be hurt or injured in any way. Furthermore, she was taking this situation much better than most people who appeared in Somarium, and quite possibly himself, given the circumstances. Before her eyes opened, he was already removing his jacket and slipping it around her shoulders. "Here, you're shivering," he noted in a soft voice.
"I just came from Altosk Tavern, where a lot of people have gathered for protection from the storm. It isn't far from here if you would like me to take you." Kaname paused, his gaze shifting past her in the direction of Yuuki's cottage. It looked like that would have to wait. Looking at her again, he lowered his head closer to her so that she could hear him a little better. "Did you just appear here... in Somarium?"
Her calm facade actually betrayed how she really felt. Lacus was afraid, but she was more afraid of what happened to her companions than the elements. She was not used to letting strangers see how distressed she was, so she could only smile and think of a solution calmly. "Thank you so much, but now aren't you going to be cold?" she asked, but the warmth the jacket gave was comforting.
"Yes, that would be great." Somewhere warm and dry would be just perfect at the moment. Maybe she could even gather more information there. She paused a while before answering to look at her surroundings. So this place... was Somarium? She had never heard of such a place. "Yes... I am. Is this somewhere in Earth? The PLANTS don't have this type of weather."
