Lacus opened her eyes when she heard a voice calling out to her. "Huh?" she turned towards the voice curious to know if the person was either friend or foe. Lacus wrapped her arms around herself. She was already feeling the cold. What did she have to lose? "Hello to you too," she smiled back.
The woman did not seem dangerous or an enemy. Despite the freezing cold and the elements, she smiled politely and grateful for her assistance. "Thank you so much. I would like that very much... I seem to be a little lost."
She got under the umbrella but began to look very worried. "May I ask? Where... is this? Is this...Earth?"
Lacus blinked away a few drops of rain from her eyes. This weather was so unusual. She saw the blond girl sigh, but it only confused her further. Had she said something wrong? Was she not on Earth after all? A new colony perhaps. "Thank you," she whispered softly as she draped the jacket around her shoulders.
The jacket helped a bit, but it still left a lot of questions unanswered. "Somarium? I have never heard of a place named Somarium before. Is this a new co---?" She stopped herself. The lady was right. It was best that she reserved her question until they got to shelter. "You are right. But, please answer my questions then?" Lacus then followed her to a safer location.
She smiled softly and gave a small giggle. "No, you were not rude at all. You are really very kind," she assured the other girl. Lacus would curtsy but the rain and the strange circumstance really prevented her from doing so. "My name is Lacus Clyne, Natalia. That is a very pretty name." Accepting the towel offered, Lacus took off her hairclip and placed it on her lap then began drying her hair.
"A... dream?" That was unexpected. Did that mean that she was asleep? The rain, the cold and the wetness felt very real. Lacus inspected the gadget called 'Dreamberry.' It looked like the compacts they had back home except maybe that it was a little smaller. "Get used to---"
This was too much. Not go home? Without knowing the fate of her friends, she had to be trapped here. Lacus quietly and sadly stared into space. "I see. Thank you, Natalia. I have... one more question... do you know anyone that may have came from my world?"
"Fuu Hououji?" No. The person's name wasn't at all familiar, was she a citizen from Earth then? Natural? Coordinator? It was all too sudden, but panicking and worrying didn't seem like a wise thing to do at the moment. She will reserve her worries for later. "This is a shock..." In her world, dead people didn't simply just walk again. If life and death were that easy, that wouldn't be living.
"Oh my! I have come in a very bad time then?" She hoped that the weather wouldn't be always like this. Natalia looked quite sad, was it because of her? Lacus a comforting smile and reached out for her new friend's hand. "Thank you for helping me. You are really too kind. Please do not worry about me. I believe I will be fine."
Lacus watched Natalia run out the door in a haste. Something she understood because Kira also had often ran out the door to save those in need. She had been with Kira long enough to understand and get used to waiting until he was finally ready to give her the whole story. When Natalia's silhouette finally disappeared inside the thick fog and rain. She closed the door, trying to decide what to do now.
She looked up the stairs, wondering if it was alright to just simply go upstairs.
Smiling, she sighed a bit before walking up the stairs to find a person named Raven or Cornelia. Until the storm passed, she had no choice but to take shelter here.
