Lloyd was once again searching for signs of the Otherworldly Gate. Espoir still felt like the most likely place it would be, since that was where he had shown up, so here he was, bundled up warmly, though still equipped with his swords. Couldn't be too careful, after all, especially after hearing that monsters might have gotten through that strange crack in the desert.

As he headed through the trees, though, something pulled his attention away from his search. Was that... music? Curious, he changed directions, his boots crunching through the crust of the old snow on the ground. Was that someone up ahead?

"A Hylian?" Lloyd has to take a moment to ponder this. "Huh... I wonder what the difference is..."

You know what? This is too confusing. Besides, Lloyd's never been one to care much what race another person is. The novelty of meeting an "elf" already started to wear off, he grins and sticks out his hand. "I'm Lloyd."

Link laughs slightly, almost in a nervous manner. "I wish I can tell you, but...I'm not sure if I know myself."

Once Lloyd lets go, he laces his hands behind his head. "So, if you're new, do you have any questions? Maybe I could help!" Not that he was exactly an experienced hand here, but hey, you never knew!

Link sure knew how to pick the hard questions - not that Lloyd could blame him. He'd pretty much asked that same question himself when he had first arrive. Unfortunately, he still hadn't found the answer.

"I don't know. I've been looking for a way out ever since I got here. A lot of people think there isn't a way, but I don't believe that. It's just... somewhere we haven't looked."
