[ D was heading back with the groceries. He had wanted Takuma to relax a bit (and he was far too giddy due to Candyland!Somarium to do any good other than take care of Cooro), so D had decided to go out and do the errands. he was currently wearing some black trousers, leather suspenders, and a white button up shirt, and spats. His long, wavy dark hair followed him as he walked, ignoring Candyland!Somarium, despite its colorful display. he had been tempted when it had all first appeared, but luckily had managed to avoid eating it. ]

[ but then the hunter saw a peculiar sight--a mouse. a little mouse, hopping from rooftop to rooftop, heading towards the Christmas tree in the middle, where he was walking past. he paused, watching her quietly... and then he realized it was a young girl, jumping from roof to roof. ]

[ ... well, he had certainly seen stranger things in his year here. ]

[ D didn't say anything. he waited until the young girl was closer to the Christmas tree. ]

Sakura paused on top of a house some ways from the Christmas tree. It wouldn't really do if someone spots her using her magic. Surveying the streets for a good landing spot, she saw a small alley beside a towering Nutcracker and made her way there.

Leaping three-storeys down with ease, she tucked her star key on her pocket once she landed and peered out on the streets. The few people about didn't seem to notice her strange landing. So far, so good~

Now she'll just have to make her way to the tree and try to ask around. Hopefully someone could help her out...

[ the vampire hunter watched the girl slowly move around the base of the tree. he decided not to comment on her landing. she looked a bit lost, however. he waited until she got a bit closer. he wasn't the type to just call out to some young lady. usually he ended up scaring them (though he wasn;t in his hunting attire so hopefully he wouldn't). the handsome man was a looming 6'7". ]

There were more people around the tree itself. And once she got close enough, she understood why. The 'tree' wasn't actually a tree. It was made entirely out of candy! She stared at it, tilting her head back to see the very top, wide-eyed. "Hanyan~ this is really amazing! Kero-chan would've cried from happiness seeing this!" But the thought of her guardian brought back to her mind her problem.

Looking around, she spotted a tall man looking towards her. He was wearing dark clothes, and stood out against the colorful village. She blinked, looked behind her then back at the man. Oh, so he was really looking at her! Sakura bit her lip, hesitating. He looked intimidating, but..... "E-excuse me?"

[Hideki can be found near the Christmas tree, staring at it. Everything else is edible, why isn't this...? He looks away for just a moment when he spies something strange hopping on rooftops. As it comes closer, he realizes it's...a girl!?]

Wh-Whoa! Did that girl just--?

[Sakura landed in an alley near enough to the giant candy tree. She pocketed her star key and looked around cautiously. No one saw her, right? She emerged from the alley, and wandered near the tree. Every glance thrown her way made her nervous. Did they saw her use magic?

She shakes her head. No, it must be this outfit. She touched the mouse-ears that came with the outfit self-consciously. Tomoyo-chan makes the cutest clothes, but wearing them is embarrassing sometimes!]

[Hideki jumps a little when she disappears. He didn't expect it to be magic and he's seen enough strange things in Somarium not to think too much of it but...]

She fell! Is she injured? She seemed fine just a second ago! Where did she go? I better find her!

[And so Hideki begins his search! He starts looking around the vicinity of the tree, drawing lots of attention by stopping people as they pass by and motioning her ears to them.]

Little girl? Hey, little girl!? Has anybody seen a little girl jumping around with ears like this?

[Sakura blinks when people started pointing towards her.]

H-hoe? [The attention was making her nervous. Oh no! Did someone saw her after all?]

[ Mikado happened to pass by the Christmas tree that day. He took a quick glance to admire the tree and was just about to go on his way home when something catches his eyes. It almost looks like a person but of course, he quickly dismisses the idea and rubs his eyes a bit. ] ...a-ahaha, probably just a bird or something.

[Sakura, despite the anxiety of being in a strange new world, is beginning to enjoy the views of this candyland. She wishes Kero-chan's with her though... Being by herself is scary--Suddenly, her foot slips on a chocolate-y roof.] Kyaaa! [she whips out a card as she fell and summoned Windy, cushioning her fall.] Whew~ Safe!

[ Well, that was odd. For a second, he was certain she was about to fall- and was ready to provide assistance if she did- only, she didn't. Still feeling a bit dazed with what he just saw, he rushes to her. ] Are you all right?!

[Sakura winces at the sound of the voice. Someone saw her again? Really, she's letting her guard down way too often. This world may have moving snowmen and candies and sweets for houses, but she still isn't sure if she's allowed to use magic here.]

[The boy seems genuinely concerned for her though, so she hurriedly gives him a reassuring smile] Oh, I just slipped a little, but I'm fine! I managed to land in my feet okay. Good thing I'm good in gymnastics! [She laughs sheepishly. At least that excuse is true.]

[Here, have Lenalee out for a walk in Espoir again. There, she spots a little girl in her direction. After blinking a few times in surprise, she is presented with snowmen behind the young girl.]

Uhm, are you alright? [Has a slightly worried expression and a smile on her face now.]

[Sakura's been avoiding walking on the streets of the village, after the incident with the snowmen earlier. But after having so many people spotting her jumping across the rooftops, she couldn't risk using magic anymore. So now she's forced to walk in the snowmen-infested streets! Hopefully, she wouldn't be encountering any of them anytime soon...]

[She looked up at the sound of the voice, and greets the older girl a smile.] Oh, hello! Um, I'm okay! I--um, I'm new here, so just walking around... [Her voice trails off to a quiet mutter.] ...avoiding snowmen...

[Lenalee blinked again before she slowly bent down a little, with a smile on her face.]

I guess I'm still new here too. Do you need to go somewhere? I can help you out. [She paused a little before continuing again.]

By the way, I'm Lenalee Lee. Glad to meet you.

I'm Sakura Kinomoto! It's nice to meet you, um... Lee-san! [Ah, Lenalee's surname may have caused a small blush. It sounded just like Syaoran-kun's surname!]

Oh, no! I'm just exploring the town, Lee-san. [Sakura paused, hearing that the older girl is also new to this world. Then she smiled brightly.] Are you also out for a walk? Maybe we could go together!

[Chii had only seen a Christmas tree for the first time in her life last year, so seeing it's appearance again made Chii happy. This time she wanted to get a better look at it and see if it had changed since the last time she had seen one. She continues looking at the tree when something catches her attention out of the corner of her eye. She turns to see Sakura jumping across the nearby rooftops.

Instead of being shocked by this sight like other people may be, Chii simply waves at the girl with a smile on her face.]

[Sakura did a double-take. Was someone waving at her? She skidded to a stop, almost tripping over a candied berry on the roof. With a squeak, she threw her hands out and quickly regained her balance. Sighing in relief, Sakura looked back at the window, and saw a woman smiling at her. Oh, how pretty she is~]

[Sakura moved closer to the window, quite forgetting where she was, and smiled shyly at the woman.] Um... Hello!

[Chii looked on with worry as Sakura flailed about but seeing that she was fine, Chii began to smile at her again.]

Hello. Were you coming over to look at the tree too?

[Sakura nods, a little too energetically.] Yup! Um, I thought maybe I could find someone who could help me there.
