As always, his bureau was open for the arrival of his brothers at any given moment when he was inside and right now, he was more loathe to leave the bureau than usual owing to what he'd brought back with him. The Apple currently sat on the table he was working at although he hadn't activated it yet, unsure of whether or not it would work correctly here or if it would react with the Dreamberry. There was still no suitable hiding place outside of the bureau and the bureau was not nearly adequate enough. So instead he kept it within grabbing distance if it wasn't hidden in one of his belt pouches as he sat and wrote in one of his notebooks, this time about what had happened in Cyprus. It was impossible not to think about Maria and he had to admit to himself that he missed her while he was here; he could see now why he had eventually married her at some stage of the future and, perhaps, in another page of another book, he was busy working on a sketch of her. Mahdi was perched on his shoulder, the bird more than happy to have his ( ... )

It should have been obvious the moment Ezio demanded information from Desmond that they wanted to know more than the other man was letting on. Honestly, at least that was somewhat commendable; the fact that Desmond kept hiding things from them. Such was the assassin way, right? In most cases, yes, but they were supposedly brothers in ...more or less every sense of the word. There shouldn't have been such big secrets between them. Even if Ezio was admittingly hesitant to blurt out his past even to Altaïr, let alone Desmond. but that was entirely different. The apple on the other hand...well they needed to talk about that even if they had to beat the information out of their descendant.

It had been bothering him ever since Altaïr had come back with his apple, and he was constantly wondering what was happening back home. He had gone back once and knew for a fact that he had just left off from when he was pulled into Somarium the first time...but did that always happen? What if life really did just go on like normal and he came back to a ( ... )

Desmond tensed lightly as Ezio grabbed his shoulder. You had to understand, this talk would probably go smoother for the two Master Assassins than for him. He couldn't be anything but nervous about this. They were not the easiest persons to approach, after all. It wasn't a question of not trusting them, he knew better than anyone that they were both dedicated to the Creed, but he knew too that they both had the tendency to hit first and ask questions later. Something the novice didn’t want to find himself at the end of ( ... )

Clearly Ezio had taken care of Mahdi during Altaïr's unscheduled absence judging from how the bird had flown to him and that was a good sign; he'd be stepping up the hawk delivered messages in the event of something involving the Apple. He greeted Ezio the same way he had greeted Desmond, smiling this time though before coming back from around his side of the counter to stand with folded arms, looking Desmond up and down. There was so much to deal with and he had yet to figure out where exactly to start but perhaps reassuring him would be a good route - it had to be intimidating to stand in a building you couldn't get easily out of with two ancestors who were far more accomplished than you were ( ... )

Yes, Mahdi had been taken care of, lest he peck Ezio's eyes out and sulk the entire time about Altair being gone from the world. The bird continued to perch on his shoulder, eyeing over to Desmond like it was just waiting for him to move wrong so he could swoop down and start pecking at his head ( ... )
