[Really, it was just kind of a mistake that Sheldon bumped into Ezio. He had made an emergency trip to the comic book store and was buried in the latest issue of Green Lantern glancing above him every so often to make sure that there is no pesky mistletoe following him. Too bad that when he looks back into the comic book he bumps into someone.

Have some flailng, Ezio as Sheldon tries to catch his precious comic book before it falls to the ground.]

What the hell IS their relationship.... /also makes your life hell and changes post. punchesbards December 10 2010, 07:00:53 UTC
[ How Ezio actually managed to run into someone was anyone's guess. Usually the assassin would have been able to dodge to the side easily, but one could blame the crowded streets and the obvious lack of room to do so. Maybe he should have used the roofs like he usually did.

Either way it happened, and Ezio just kind of grunted and inched to the side, extending a hand to grab the book before it hits the ground. Unaware of the devilish plant above their heads. ]

I have no answer for that lmao. /s-sob knocksthrice December 10 2010, 07:17:49 UTC
[Being Sheldon, he doesn't really thank Ezio vocally. He kind of looks up and realizes it's the assassin and nods. Just assume that this is a sort of thank you. His attention is more focused on the comic book that Ezio is holding wrong and not really on the mistletoe that's above them.]

Ezio.

Well he doesn't hate him...they're not really friends. ...High five then? :D punchesbards December 10 2010, 07:20:18 UTC
[ He's holding it wrong and with two fingers like it's dripping with poison. You're getting your NERD on him. ]

Sheldon. [ An equally uncaring greeting as he hands off the comic book, his free hand twitching slightly. ] Should you really be reading and walking at the same time?

Lightning had had surprisingly good luck in the mistletoe department. Not only had she successfully avoided all of it up to this point with the efficiency and care that one would take in avoiding the plague, any that had dared drift near succumbed to a well placed bullet. Yes, Lightning chose to deal with this plant infestation the only way she knew how, with guns blazing. It was an effective method, the only downside being how completely insane she looked while doing it ( ... )

Speaking of avoiding things like the plague, that may or may not what he and Lightning had been doing since they found that secret room in the coliseum. He wasn't really doing it on purpose on his end, he was just extremely busy and assumed she was as well. If they met up in mentioned training room to clean it out then they met. If not then...oh well. It wasn't a big deal to him ( ... )

Busted. She tried her best to remain apathetic to it all, and even fought back an annoyed sigh. She wasn't annoyed with him, just more so annoyed with the fact that she got caught. Really, her stealth was starting to slip, but then again her stealth was a debateable quality above anything else. She didn't push off of the wall, but merely lifted a foot to rest on the cold brick, enhancing her casual indifference ( ... )

It was funny only because it was Lightning. Despite his own paranoia about the mistletoe, he couldn't help but find it amusing that she was playing the same game he was. So far what he had seen hadn't been as bad as initially perceived, but that didn't mean he was going to let his guard down. That also didn't mean it wasn't funny to mess with her either. Lightning was an easy target for him ( ... )

Doing it for the LULZ mush_monarch December 10 2010, 19:22:40 UTC
Peach was having a busy week with the new 'delivery' business she opened up. People ordered a couple of things. A little bit more than she expected, but that was great! That meant she was going to have enough money for her own Christmas party and that she would be able to buy small gifts for everyone who attended it.

So, she was walking down Somni, finally getting used to the countless streets and plazas there. The commercial center there looked nothing like the one back in Toad Town. In fact, the small town that surrounded her castle now seemed extremely tiny when compared to this city bursting with life.

She had a few bags on her hands and was now peeking at some shopping windows, looking at clothes and other things of her interest. She had the right to a moment of leisure, right?

In that moment Ezio was coming out from one of the shops, currently without any bags on hand, so he had either stolen his merchandise or had not found anything of particular interest in said store. Either way, he was still looking somewhat tired and annoyed, as he normally did when he lacked sleep and proper nutrition.

Spotting the woman was not difficult, she stood out fairly well amongst a crowd and while they had only spoken once or twice since his return to Somarium, he felt so inclined to at least greet her. If only because he was within her line of sight at the moment.

"Ciao, principessa." He offered with a slight wave, motioning toward the bags on hand, and luckily not having spotted any mistletoe around just yet. Damn it for just magically appearing, "Do you need some assistance?"

"Ah, good day mister Ezio!" She smiled at him, as she did with everyone. She was usually cheery, but the Christmas season was able to make her even happier.

"Oh, I don't want to bother you with those, really," she answered, not really refusing his offer, but not really wanting to force him to help her or something. She was always so dependable of everyone, all the time, and she was definitely getting a little bit tired of that.

Her cheery nature was somewhat refreshing considering how pessimistic he had been lately with the mistletoe.

He didn't want to pester her and if she was fine with the bags then he wouldn't object. She was a grown woman and perfectly capable of handling herself. The offer was still on the table if she changed her mind though, "Va bene," he said with a shrug, "Are you Christmas shopping?"

Ah but did he really want to avoid it everywhere when Serenity was unsuspectingly sitting under one as she was reading a book? As always she was only wearing her white and silver gown. Her hair spilled around her to rest on the snow covered ground.

That is a good question. Again, while he would have no objections to kissing a beautiful woman, he didn't like risking the chance of something worse happening. For all he knew the mistletoe was cursed and they'd both fall over dead afterward. That wasn't the case with Angela earlier..but could you blame him for his paranoia?

He couldn't ignore the woman though as he passed her, even if he nearly missed her amongst the snow, "Serenity."

"Ezio, how wonderful to see you. As silent as ever in your movement," she chuckled. "Would you like to sit with me for a bit or are you busy?"

"It is my nature, madonna, I hope I didn't startle you." He smiled softly, still blissfully unaware of the mistletoe above the woman. He was extremely busy, but he could spare a few moments for her. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to rest for a moment."

"Aren't you cold?" he asked as he sat down, tucking his cape under himself some.

That's right. He hadn't seen Snake since he returned, had he? Luckily his memory was more or less intact now and Snake was pretty hard to forget as it were.

Ezio, personally, couldn't find it in himself to really get into the Christmas spirit. Although it was nice he would be spending a holiday with at least one member of his actual family while Claudia was stuck here, too. She couldn't complain about not seeing her enough either.

Once he spotted the familiar face Ezio raised his hand to mimic the greeting, offering a small smile from under the shadow of his hood. "I haven't seen you since I returned, Snake," Said captain obvious. Oh and that mistletoe hanging around them? didn't even notice yet.

He tilted his head to the side. Really? Snake hadn't noticed at all? Well that wasn't too surprising. They could have been considered acquaintances at best, so Ezio didn't really see much of a reason for the man to even care that he was gone. He shrugged, "Si, I left for a week and returned. Well...a week here, and around 15 years back home."

Ezio still had his hand up, looking like he was expecting more than a wave. Or he was ready to punch the other man in the face...either way it was kind of weird.
