[Kasuka happens to be wandering the area, taking in the cool air, when he notices Rena. And although it probably isn't clear in his typically stoic expression, he doesn't like it when others are upset.
And so, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that he walks over to Rena.]
You don't sound it, Uu.. [Maria takes out her golden staff, and waves it into her hand. A single golden butterfly flutters there for a few minutes, until a tiny piece of candy appears there]
Here [places her hand with the candy in front of you] This might cheer you up, Uu!

Alfred hated winter. Chilly weather just didn't suit well with him. Unless you were talking about Christmas, winter sucked majorly.
Shivering slightly with a bag of hot chocolate mix (what could be better in a cold weather?) dangling from his arm and hands tucked safely in his pockets, he made his way across the village until America noticed a familiar figure.
Odd, she looked down.
He strolled over to her, not at all trying to cover the sound of his steps.
Rena looked up at the sound of footsteps. Seeing America she felt a mixture of both happiness and more sadness. Happiness because he was still here but sadness because seeing him reminded her more of Spain's absence.
For him, she tried her best to cover up her inner pain. "Ah, America. How are you?"
He would have said something funny to cheer her up, but somehow her eyes just look so lost. Even America lost his taste for jokes in face of such melancholic face. He sat down next to her despite protests from his buttocks and said with a puzzled smile.
"I'm good, I'm good." A pause. "But you don't look so good. Did something happen?"
"Well..." She bows her head down. There wasn't much of a way to dodge this question, especially with America who was a friend of Spain's. She bites her lip, refusing to cry again. It was so hard, but she didn't want to keep him in the dark.
Rena's eyes widened in surprise at suddenly seeing Ashura in front of her but they soon softened and she put on a small smile. Though her sadness was still overpowering, it made her happy to see him again after their first meeting.
Rena appreciated his company, even if it was just silent at first. There were a lot of answers Rena though up to his question at first, and none of them very positive or possible. 'Don't leave Somarium.' 'Don't get too attached to anyone here because they may end up leaving in the end.' 'Bring my friends back.' and so on. Rena decided not saying any of those would be best.
"Just having you sit with me is enough for me right now."
