With a smile that said he knew far too much, Count D appeared with Tetsu, walking up slowly to greet Ocelot.

"It's pleasant to see you again, sir."

Tetsu ambled along beside the Count. He looked up at Ocelot, aggravated.

"If his buddy pulls a gun on me like he did with the goat, he's not gonna get off easy. He might need some tenderizing before I stick him in my mouth, Count."

Ocelot gestured with both hands in greeting. "So you decided to come, after all..." He looked down at Tetsu.

Ocelot arrived back at the base some time later with the goat-like beast still in his arms. He pushed the door open with his shoulder and entered without announcing himself, figuring Big Boss was either resting or working on something or sneaking. (He didn't care at all what Frank was up to.)

"This is your new home, Tetsu."

Tetsu eventually gave up struggling in Ocelot's arms and made up his mind to enjoy the ride. When they made it back to the Outer Heaven base, he checked out the decor with a critical eye. It was a little... sparse, but maybe the fresh meat around here would more than make up for it.

Hopefully.

"It ain't the shop, that's for sure."

Was Ocelot going to let him down yet?

Frank moved silently down the stairs; Big Boss was napping and it was time for another patrol of the grounds. He heard Ocelot enter and although the young soldier normally would choose to ignore the man, something caught his attention.

He remained on the stairs, just staring at the man in Ocelot's arms.

"What're you lookin' at, kid?" Tetsu grumped, glaring straight back at Frank. "I'd be happy to take those eyes out for a nice midnight snack if you don't quit it. They get a nice juicy texture when you fry 'em."
