Tetsu ambled along beside the Count. He looked up at Ocelot, aggravated.
"If his buddy pulls a gun on me like he did with the goat, he's not gonna get off easy. He might need some tenderizing before I stick him in my mouth, Count."
"I had no choice. This animal wanted to come and so I had to obey. Such is the nature of our relationship." D eyed the man before kneeling down to pick up the goat beast in his arms.
Giving him a small pat on the head, the pet shop owner held him out to Ocelot. It nearly pained him to give up the magnificent creature that he had gone through so much to get, but D doubted the separation would be that long anyway.
Ocelot didn't need encouragement to take Tetsu from D's arms, cradling the beast in his own and giving him a pet on the neck as if he were a cat. "What sort of goat is he?"
Tetsu made a low, rumbling sound in his throat, but he was being surprisingly docile. He didn't put up a struggle, in any case. And the neck pat? It was kind of nice, but he preferred hands without any gloves.
Ignoring Tetsu's comment, D smiled at Ocelot, pulling out a piece of paper.
"He's a Totetsu from China. His name is Tetsu. Here is the contract to sign that will make you his official owner. There are a few rules to obey though while caring for him. 1) Always give him access to fresh water. 2) Always give him fresh, never frozen meat. And 3) never let him get bored."
D held out a pen for Ocelot, waiting for him to sign his life away. "If you break any of these rules, I can not be held responsible for whatever may happen to you or anyone else in the vicinity."
Ocelot's hand stopped moving at the mention of fresh meat. "...A carnivorous goat?" He looked down at the creature in his arms. His smirk widened. "So he's a predator... How interesting..."
He took the pen from him and signed "ADAMSKA" in Russian, smirking all the while.
"It's pleasant to see you again, sir."

"I can walk on my own," he grumbled.

Tetsu wriggled a little. Can't this guy let him walk?
