[He had no need of a health examination - his health was above that of any human. This woman was not qualified to deal with such things in his opinion. There were certain aspects concerning his true nature that an outsider did not need to know. Tieria was much more interested in the fact that this woman had a lab - he wanted to know what her line of work was, what she was capable of doing in Somarium, what kind of technology she possessed and if it was anything similar to the labs and technology he was used to on the Ptolemaios.]

[Always prompt, Tieria arrives at 7:00am. He looks at the outside lab for a few seconds before knocking on the door, not wanting to let himself in should the woman be indecent.]

[Naomi answers the door a few short moments later. She's dressed neatly in her casual attire--short skirt, partially buttoned blouse, and long lab coat-- but there is definitely something off about her. Though always very alert and ready, this morning the doctor looks a little more sluggish than usual.

Despite her brief week of being a mother, Naomi has rarely spent a day in her life out of bed before 9 a.m.]

Right on time. [She holds back a yawn.]

[He gives her a quick once over, his eyes showing no compassion, before walking into the lab. He turns to face her once inside]

What is your area of expertise?

[She closes the door behind him before turning to give the man her full attention. Which is still not her best.

She needs another cup of coffee.]

Genetics and nanotechnology.

The afternoon was a hazy time for the pureblood. While most vampires could not be bothered to even leave their beds before late afternoon, Kaname was accustomed to it. His movements were languid and his eyes half-mast as he traveled, but he managed the walk without issue.

He was curious about Naomi Hunter, and the only true way to satisfy that curiosity was to meet her in person. Her invitation was a formality. Eventually, he would have come uninvited, or sent Ichijou.

Reaching his destination, Kaname knocked politely outside the door to her lab, awaiting a response.

Unfortunately, Naomi was not nearly as curious about Kaname as he was about her.

Yes, though most of her encounters had ended negatively, the spark pushing the slender woman towards scientific discovery had continued to keep her interested in vampires and finding out exactly how their bodies really worked. But even that love of science had it's limits, and Naomi doubted that even someone as strong as herself would be able to spend more time than necessary with her guest. Despite the fact that he hadn't even harmed her in comparison to what Adachi had done, she felt more fear for Kaname than she had for anyone else in Somarium.

Naomi was at the door immediately after his knock, leaning casually against the door frame. Though her expression was relaxed and welcoming, the man might notice a slight uneasy in her body language.

"Just on time."

Kaname lowered his eyes to regard the Doctor as she leaned into her own doorway, trying to look the picture of ease. She ought to be perfectly comfortable within her own space. To Kaname, the picture wasn't convincing, but the pureblood opted against pointing it out.

He bowed his head slightly in formal greeting. "Doctor," he murmured, offering Naomi a faint smile. It was not a gentle expression. He was not trying to deceive her in the same way she was hoping to fool him. He was dangerous. Even the curve of his mouth said as much, and the way his eyes passed over her only emphasized the point. Still, he was going through the motions of being polite, letting her lead.

"Thank you for seeing me."

Yes, she should be comfortable within the safety of her own warm home, but with everything that had already happened there recently, the woman only felt more cautious with the stranger on her doorstep. Naomi was well aware how silly it was for her to be so on edge considering he wasn't exactly the same Kaname she had the tense relationship with before. And there was also the fact that her 'friend' would be there soon to make sure nothing happened...

Perhaps she really was overreacting.

Gesturing to the room behind her and through the doorway, she moved backwards so that he could join her inside. Whatever unease she held, the doctor was holding it in expertly. Her smile softened easily, helping to give off a much calmer vibe. "Yes, of course. It really isn't a problem."

[It has been far too long since Frank had last allowed himself to be examined by a doctor. Prior to his arrival in this world over twenty months ago he was accustomed to daily physical inspections and tests, constantly having his body monitored for any signs of injury or fatigue after strenuous missions or training exercises. Though other doctors existed in Somarium, Naomi was the one the young soldier managed to bring himself to trust.

He arrives outside the woman's door, coming straight from work in the industrial district. He stands at attention - raising a hand and lightly knocking.]

[Naomi is there immediately, opening the door and ushering her brother inside. This is an exam that she actually cares about. With all Frank currently does and all he has been through in his young life, the doctor wants nothing more than to make sure he stays in top health.]

Perfect timing. Not that I expect anything less from you.

I had hoped to arrive earlier. I apologize. [Not that he really has anything to apologize for: he arrived at precisely the scheduled time. He steps into the woman's lab, allowing himself a moment to glance around the area. He isn't admiring the way its been reconstructed, nor is he finding it all that interesting to look at - what he's checking for is anything out of place. He's still meticulous as ever.]

I have noted no major physical changes to my health. I do not feel there will be much to document.

[Thankfully, there isn't much to be out of place considering she's barely brought anything in. Just don't check in the bedroom.

The doctor is quick to close the door behind the teenager before following him further into her lab.] Have you been keeping active recently? The usual training and patrolling you've always done?

[Having been granted the afternoon off work, Akihiko decided it would be best to reschedule his appointment with the doctor. This was really his first time interacting with her outside of work - he felt a bit uneasy about this meeting as a whole. The boxer had to reassure himself that she was a doctor, her duty was to keep people healthy - similar to his job on the police force meant ensuring the safety of those who lived here.

He knocked on the door and waited for the woman to answer. Even though this was her lab, it was her home as well. Walking in would just be rude, wouldn't it?]

[It was still strange to be around children like Akihiko and Kay for Naomi after her time spent as their mother, but she had always been good at hiding her feelings around certain people.

She answers the door with a soft, but welcoming smile on her face, genuinely pleased to see the boy again.]

I'm glad you made it. This won't take long.

[With a quick nod, Akihiko clears his throat a bit.]

Sounds good... I'm impressed your lab was rebuilt so quickly. I expected it to take longer, considering the damage.

You`re as surprised as I am. Which explains why it`s so bare in here. All of the equipment I`ve ordered won`t be here till next week.

[As fond of as she had been of her older lab supplies and equipment, it will be nice to have brand new devices to play with.] But I was able to secure enough medical supplies for simple examinations.

[Having grown accustom to following coordinates because of his unwanted military services, Kira finds his way to the lab quite quickly and right on time. He didn't exactly have to visit Doctors as frequently as most human beings, he was a lot stronger than them. But injuries that he remembered and bandaging that he didn't prompted a Doctor's appointment. It was the logical thing to do. Due to his rapid healing, most bandaging had been removed and only small, but highly visible scarring remained, though that too would vanish in time.

He walks up to the door, and knocks loudly several times. He waits patiently for an answer.]

[Even before he arrived at her lab, Naomi wasn't quite sure what she should expect from this new patient. Kira Yamato, whoever he was, wasn't someone she's ever even spoken to before today.

But the slender woman is quick to answer the door anyway, smiling in a pleasant greeting.]

Hello. [She steps quickly to the side of her door frame to let him into her lab.] Come right on in.

Um. [It takes him a moment, but finally he smiles back, and nods.] Thank you, Doctor.

[He walks in carefully, stops just inside, and doesn't go in any further. He waits to allow the Doctor to walk ahead of him, it's her establishment after all, and he doesn't want to end up anywhere he shouldn't be.]

This isn't a problem at all. It's my job, after all. [She leads Kira through her tiny living room into the large area that contains her rather sad amount of equipment.

The room itself, however, is amazingly shiny and obviously brand-new.]

I'll need your medical history first before we go on.
