Kiyoshi was still wandering around, when he heard that roar. He frowned, and darted in that direction.

... He recognized Argilla's demon form, and cracked his knuckles, before launching a Ziodyne at the dinosaur.

[There is now a slightly crispier then before dinosaur, who is also looking a bit dazed from the sudden lightning attack. It's still on it's feet, although now there's more lumbering, and less charging.

And Prithivi's head has snapped up when she feels that bolt travel through the air, and is currently trying to pinpoint where it came from.]

Kiyoshi narrows his eyes, and runs at the dinosaur, hitting it with an Agidyne this time.

"Argilla! Over here!"

[She turns for a moment, focusing on that new strain of magic and almost focuses on where it is...

But the voice yelling is what clues her in on the location. A moment later, and it pierces through that thick, red haze that's clouding her thoughts, that whoever is yelling is also calling her name.

Realizing that, and the fact that the monster behind her isn't trying to get it's jaws around her is what tears Prithivi away from the fight for a moment. Instead, she turns towards the voice, and darts towards it.]

Dinosaurs, all right. He's fought giant creatures before.

Thankfully, Ryu is wandering by, with his sword. And... he can tell someone's in danger, though he's not quite clear who... or what... the strange thing is. Something's stirring from a dream he saw, though... so he should help this person(?).

And so Ryu darts in, slicing at the dinosaur with his sword, trying to get its attention away from Argilla.

[He also succeeds at getting the demon's attention as well. It's head whips around at the sudden motion, but when...Whatever it is also sends the dinosaur staggering, she doesn't hesitate to act.

No explosions of earth this time around; instead, with the attention off her, she tries to focus on changing the ground. Making it softer, and more easy to slow down something with a lot of weight standing on it.]

The dinosaur scrabbles for a hold as the ground softens beneath his feet.

Ryu doesn't waste time either, slicing at the dinosaur and darting out of the way of its claws and teeth. The skin is tough to cut through, but he's faced tougher.

[She can feel it struggle, and that increases Argilla's focus on making the ground less firm and more like mud or quicksand. As long as that newcomer keeps slashing at it, she thinks that she can handle keeping the beast immobile.

Those sharp bits of rock starting to poke out of the surface, however, show that she's ready to bring in her own weapons if she has to.]

[meanwhile, Maka was resting at the base of a tree-- she'd probably be up in it if she were in any mood to climb, if only to avoid anything that may have been lingering around ground level, but she hadn't noticed anything nearby for a while. she was tired and just wanted somewhere to sit for at least a little bit, and so... that's what she was doing.

up until the ground started to rumble, and before Maka has time to react, the freakin' huge dinosaur reveals itself, romping through the forest dangerously close by.]

-- Not again!

[just how many of these things were there?! the best course of action, naturally, was to high-tail it out of there-- and that's what Maka has in mind while she pushes herself up to her feet, but she didn't even make one step further before the sandy colored demon in question zipped through the trees out of seemingly nowhere and landed on the ground nearby in front of her ( ... )

[For what it's worth, the spiny, mamary-fanged demon looks just as surprised as Maka, judging by how the thing suddenly freezes when it 'sees' her. The head turns to face Maka for a moment, and even without out eyes it seems to have locked onto her.

Prithivi can easily sense that there's a person in front of her, although the details aren't very clear. The heartbeat, the weight this person has on the ground, all of THAT shows up clearly.

And beyond her, that giant creature is ALSO visible, this one in sharp detail, and she can see and feel it turning around towards them.

She reacts, now. Try to pull this person away from the thing charging at them, and get her out of the way. Argilla clamps down on Prithivi's instincts when her arm shoots out at Maka, to try and wrap around her and yank her back. No blades or claws; she wants to help whoever this is, not make a meal out of them.]

[oh no, Maka thinks, it did notice her. it had no eyes to speak of, but it probably didn't even need that much. she had to get away before this creature did something-- or the other one nearby found them.

her breathing had froze just like the rest of her body, but finally, her foot slid back slowly in hopes that taking caution over sudden movements would work in her favor. slowly, slowly... that's all she needed, and then she could get away when she made it far enough away.

but the demon acted suddenly, and although Maka jerked further back, she could feel something wrap around her, and before she knew it she was being pulled forward. needless to say, there was an audible outcry coming from her that could be heard through the dinosaur's sharp roars.]

[This would work a lot better if the person she was trying to pull out of the way wasn't struggling and yelling. The dinosaur bearing down on them doesn't help either, and she gives a frustrated growl. Then in another moment, Prithivi gives a violent yank with her extended arm, and shoots her other out towards the T. rex in a violent casting motion.

Now, the animal suddenly has to worry about a sharp collection of stones suddenly sticking out in the ground between it and them. That slows it down, and she turns her attention back to Maka.]

"Hurry!"

[The word slips out of one mouth, but it sounds ragged, and mixed with a low snarl as well. Not the most convincing sound to get someone to cooperate.]

Ghost-Danny spins around in mid-air, flinching at the roar. He's just deciding what to do when the angry dinosaur explodes through the trees, and Danny almost gets windshield'd by the enormous charging lizard.

"HEY! Watch where you're going, Reptar! And don't--... play... with your food..."

Danny trails off, staring after the (sort of) diminishing dinosaur's back. The fact that it just walked right past him was a surprise, but that's not what has his attention: the dinosaur's prey is.

It takes less than a split second to make his decision. That person-freaky creature thing-whatever needs help, and he's going to give it to, er, 'her'. Immediately he's racing after the T-Rex, shooting bright blasts of burning energy after its leathery hide.

"Hey, Godzilla! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!"

[With all her attention focused on the giant T. rex pounding and digging into the earth with each footstep, her focus is on that instead of whatever might be in the air. When something...She can't quite read what that energy is, other then that it flares up suddenly in her vision. It flashes bright for a moment, before making the dinosaur bellow.

It also gives her an opening, though; while it's distracted, Prithivi takes the chance to whirl out of the way and put some distance between herself and the beast.

She just needs enough space, and one brief moment, to call up enough energy. And the rational part of Argilla starts counting off the seconds it will take to get that.]

Danny barely glances at her as she moves away, assuming she's fleeing the scene. Good, that means he doesn't have to worry about her, now.

"Ha! Didn't like that so much, did yo--WHOA!"

The ghost-boy dives down and under the dinosaur, dodging snapping jaws on the way. The beast is hideously fast, and for those remaining few seconds Danny is forced on the deffensive, unable to do anything but retreat.

[That attack and retreat gives her the window she needs, though. Just enough time to steady herself, focus on her enemy, and to start reaching out.

It's almost like she's tugging at everything around around her, pulling it in tight and trying to pack all that energy together into a tight ball. Then holding that all together for one moment, waiting for what she's drawn into a tight space to boil over...

And then she lets it go, pointing all that energy towards the dinosaur and letting it burst out in a long, blinding stream of light. There are explosions when it hits the T. rex, and if it isn't dead then it certainly is on it's last feet.]
