Kiyoshi hummed as he was passing by, and stopped when he noticed a small shape shaking against a wall.

Curious, he moved closer, trying to see what it was... and he paused when he realized it was a person.

"Ah... miss? Are you all right?"

Sera's head snapped up so she could look at him, her eyes wide with fear. She stood as fast as she could, already backing away, getting ready to run... But that was going to be hard, because she was already slipping on the slushy snow. In her mind, she was thinking that there was no way she was going to get away, having not even seen snow before, let alone being forced to run in it...

Maybe she was assuming too quickly... What if she didn't have to get away? What if he wasn't from the Karma Society?

"W-who are you?"

"Please don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." He held up his hands, trying to convey that he meant no harm.

"My name is Kiyoshi. Who are you?"

Well, at least she stopped backing away. She just stares at him for a good long moment, still looking as if she felt like she was cornered.

"Sera..."

[Trucy is on her way through Somni, heading back to the apartment with an armful of groceries when she spots Sera. She approaches a bit cautiously, not wanting to startle her. She doesn't look all that happy.]

...Excuse me, are you okay?

[Again, Sera starts to back away from Trucy, staring at her like she was a deer in the headlights. Having no idea where she was was not good for her psyche, especially after being held by an evil organization for her whole life.

She doesn't respond yet, still trying to gage if it was safe to be there at the moment.]

[Trucy can percieve that this probably isn't the best way to approach her and puts down her bag of groceries and crouches down to Sera's level]

I'm not going to hurt you. You can trust me.

[Prior experience had told her that those words did not mean very much... But so far she didn't seem to be lying. When Sera finally responded, her voice was quiet and unsure.]

... Where are we?

*Is wrapped up in some kind of hand-held console when he passes her, only just barely noticing at all. He slows and turns, throwing a curious glance back at her, before stopping altogether. Doesn't she look... just like...*

Sera? Is that you?

[The girl gasped slightly and she jerked in alarm when she was called... How did he know her name?! No one in the world knew her real name, except her friends, and the Karma Society. Her friends were gone... That only left one option for who this boy was.

Sera couldn't get up and away from him fast enough. In her rush to try to get away, she slipped easily in the slushy melting snow and slammed right back down before she could get more then a few steps. She immediately curled up trying to protect herself in any way possible.]

I-- N-No! Don't make me go back! [... Yeah, when she's scared, she's not very rational.]

Whoa! *Is pretty surprised himself over the reaction, and he jumps when she springs into motion. He recovers quickly, though, and by the time she's curled up in the freezing slush he's hurrying after her, kneeling beside her trembling form.*

What are you talking about? *Holds a hand just over her back, wanting to help but afraid he might spook her again.* Sera? You're not making any sense. Go back 'where'?

I can't do such terrible things! Please don't--!

[It took the terrified girl a minute for Danny's words to actually sink in. Slowly and carefully, she pushed herself up a little to stare at him in utter confusion.]

You... You don't know? [... If he was with the Karma Society, he would know exactly where she meant. Was he just trying to trick her? Sera's minds were reeling with so many thoughts that she just couldn't begin to sort them out in this moment.]

It took Argilla time to get comfortable with pushing outside the Embryon's territory again; things had changed since that...abduction they all had to face, and the nightmares that had come before it. Those, and those new specters in the city were enough to make anyone cautious.

But eventually, caution got shoved aside by those still-new feelings of frustration and restlessness.

Which was why she was slowly picking her way through the city again, keeping one eye on her surroundings, and the other on that clear blue sky overhead. That was still a striking sight for her-

But not as striking as a familiar looking figure curled up against one of the walls. It was enough to make her freeze mid-step, and stare. Her mouth, however, wasn't bound in the same way.

"Sera!"

Sera's head perked up, and all it took was one person's voice to instantly make all of her fears disappear.

"Argilla...?" Her voice is as soft as a whisper. She can hardly believe it... After she had questioned everyone's survival for so long, thinking that there may have been no way for everyone's data to have been transfered from the virtual world, and not knowing the answer to her fears, FINALLY she was getting proof what she was loosing hope of...

Argilla made it to the real world. She was alive. If she was alive, everyone was alive! "Argilla!"

Hey Argilla. Here comes Sera running up to you and hugging you as tightly as she can, not letting go, as if Argilla would disappear again if she ever stopped. She had a huge, relieved smile on her face. "I was so worried! I thought I would never see you again!"

Hearing Sera was enough to break unfreeze her body; and just in time, too, as the smaller Embryon was already launching herself at her with an impressive amount of force.

Lucky for her, Argilla had learned a lot since Cielo's first tackle hug. She was able to brace herself, and then manage to catch Sera, not fall down, and hold them both up.

The enthusiasm was a bit contagious though, and Argilla couldn't keep from adding to the stream of words.

"Where have you been all this time!? We were worried about you too-" She gave Sera a bit of a hug in return; Argilla also needed that proof that she really was there.

"Glad that you're safe."

"I'm so glad!" She was still squeezing her, but she finally laid off a bit to back up and take in the sight of Argilla, who still really was there! She wasn't going away!

... Though she frowned a little when she was asked where she was... What would Argilla say if she knew that she had been trapped this whole time? Still, there was something else in what she said that instantly made Sera smile and cheer up again.

"'We'... So, everyone else is here too?!"

*he'll be out walking around with Noireau, who's on a leash as usual, in case she tries to wander off... and dressed in his now-usual clothes, jeans and green tee. Er-- green coat, since it's still chilly right now, to him. And his gray Junkyard tagelmust and scarf, since now he's also figured out that it's good for keeping warm with too.*

*doesn't spot her right away; he's watching the dog sniffing around at the base of a building's doorway.*

[Sera heard the noises of someone approaching and her shoulders jerked... But she looked up quickly to see that they hadn't noticed her. She pushed at the ground with her feet slightly, feeling a bit of fear rising up in her, but... She had already met others, and they hadn't hurt her. Couldn't this man be the same way?

So, she didn't move. She sat and cautiously watched the man and his... dog? Her head raised slightly more, and she focused on the animal... This was the first time she had seen a real dog. She had heard about them before, of course, but she had never seen one in real life!]
