[Senri's one of the unlucky souls who caught stuck outside after 9. So, uh, lots of rats. The good news is that Senri isn't defenceless. Currently in his +Anima form, he's clawing away any rats that try to attack him as he runs down the halls.

Move it! *Even more misfortune seems to fall upon Senri as Kagura was also caught after curfew time. It wasn't her fault that Mr. Bandit was so interesting. Nope. And noticing that blank look, she bounded over while beating the rats with her umbrella.*

[Well, now that Kagura's here, Senri's swiping at the rats near her as well as looking after himself. He's still getting steadily more tired, though.]

[So this would be Ken breaking curfew just to find out what would happen because seriously what's the worst that could happen discovering that he REALLY DID NOT WANT TO KNOW THAT KTHX. The discovery that he's not the only human-shaped thing at RATCON 1998 (or... well, whatever year it is in Somarium right now) is a welcome one.]

[He really wishes he'd been able to find the way out he was looking for now, because here he is what feels like ass deep in rats. It's not that Ken has anything against rats most of the time, but these rats certainly seem to have something against him and trying to fight them off armed with a bit of wood while dressed in pajamas isn't his idea of a great evening. Cursing, he kicks the rats away and makes his way over, breathing perhaps a little too hard. Not that he's noticed this yet.]

Goddamn rats! Why don't they have a curfew?!

[On the other hand, it doesn't make much of a difference to Senri whether he's alone or not--though now that someone else is here, he starts swiping the rats near him as well. Because he's nice like that. C:]

[Ohthankgod company. Ken is relieved to have the backup. He's not so much so to realize that, once again, communication difficulty is about to become the order of the day. He's officially used his (ohgod so faltering) English more in the last few days than he has in the rest of his life to date. He's not doing anywhere near as badly as he thought he would, but it's really beginning to get him down.

[Still, he's at least learning in one respect: he's not even trying Japanese on this guy... but why did nobody tell him this was going to be important? Why did nobody say, hey, Hidaka, pay attention in English classes in case you ever find yourself stuck in a warehouse full of rats with nine million English-speakers, ten times the number of rats and Youji Kudou for company?

[That's right, because he wouldn't have believed them if they had. He straightens slightly, wiping his brow, and kicks another rat away from himself.]

[Unfortunately, that's the most you're going to get out of him, Ken, seeing as how Senri fails at Basic Communication 101. Especially when it comes to explaining things.]

[Rats aren't the best thing to get stuck warding off in the dark, but it's not like they have much of a choice. Woe. Soul is whacking off rodents with one arm in blade-form when--oh, hey! Another person! Hurray!]

[Cue slash here. He's starting to feel a little wobbly, though...]

[Senri will be giving Soul a curious look as he claws some more rats, because he's definitely never seen an arm like that before.

Likewise, his breathing's starting to get heavier, as he feels more and more tired.]

[It's very possible this guy can't actually understand him, so Soul accepts the universal sign of 'Let's kill things!' and does the same. Unfortunately, the fatigue is starting to get in the way and more rats have arrived.]

He's still swiping at rats, though. His mindset's generally on the lines of "keep attacking until the enemy's gone," not "think about what you should be doing right now."]
