Lussuria was just about to put the ramen in when he heard the knocks at the door. Dropping the noodles on the counter, he made his way to the door. Almost yanking it open, he stood there blinking several time before he smiled.
"Nfu~! Welcome to mama Lussu's fab kitchen~! Come on iiin~!"
Leaving the door, he went back towards the kitchen, glancing over his shoulder to make sure the other guy was actually coming in.
s'okay, this breaks the overdue record orzshamesthebrassFebruary 21 2010, 18:39:45 UTC
The Reaper almost took a step back when the door seemed to throw itself aside. The person beyond it was...well, as elaborately decorated as that text message he'd sent. Funny how he didn't expect that.
Oh but a nice scent was wafting in from the inside, and it was one he'd recognize anywhere.
"Yo. Lussuria was it? Something smells good in there," Kariya said as he followed the other inside.
He paused after closing the door, suddenly uncertain. He was feeling ravenous, but he couldn't just ignore common courtesy. "Do I kick off the shoes or are you fine with me keepin' 'em on?" he asked, gesturing to the pair of boots he had on.
LOL no worries!fredda_morteFebruary 21 2010, 18:53:52 UTC
Lussuria glanced down to his boots and smiled. It was always good to see someone who could make casual look good. Kariya seemed to know how things went together whether he was aware of it or not. He waved his hand dismissively and smiled.
"Just keep them on, it's not my place after all...not yet. Mmmhmm~ Lussuria's the name!"
He was finally in the kitchen and went to the stove, picking up the ramen and dropping it in the pot. He used a pair of chopsticks to stir the broth and noodles together, relaxing back as he looked over at Kariya with a pout.
"Now...I didn't know what kind to make, so I've got three kinds, kind of basic though. Chicken chilli, grilled salmon and vegetable. Just finishing up the chicken, there's drinks in the fridge if you want."
Oh hi. >_> This is probably bad for the world.showmeshiniesFebruary 21 2010, 19:31:22 UTC
Jarlaxle's had gone out exploring again, and he followed the smell of something good to this location. He blended into the shadows as he slipped silently through the hotel to the smell, and was surprised to see somebody sort of familiar in the kitchen. Grinning, Jarlaxle decided to lean against the wall by the door. His arms were crossed over his chest, over the white silk shirt he wore under his black vest trimmed with gold thread. Tight black pants accented his slender hips and legs, and Jarlaxle crossed his left foot over his right, taking care to make sure his appearance was perfect before he spoke.
OH SNAP IS THAT THE SOUND OF IMPLOSION?fredda_morteFebruary 21 2010, 19:39:09 UTC
Lussuria's job was to be aware, to know what was going on around him. Despite this, the sound of someone's voice caused him to jump. The assassin mentally cursed himself and turned away from the stove, facing the...well, well...the familiar sight. His lips curled and eyebrows rose up high, waving a ladle at the intruder.
"Don't you know it isn't wise to sneak up on someone when they're cooking?"
Lussuria's smile grew and he put the utensil down and tapped his lips.
"Jarlaxle, right?"
His eyes took in Jarlaxle's form from behind his shades. He looked better than Lussuria thought. His eyes settled on those tight black pants, from what he saw...Jarlaxle...was almost perfect.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror...showmeshiniesFebruary 21 2010, 19:46:35 UTC
"You could say that I was confident in my ability to dodge anything you might throw at me," Jarlaxle replied with a grin. He pulled his hat off, revealing his bald head and long, pointed and pierced ears, and dipped a low bow before standing and replacing the huge hat.
"Well met, Lussuria."
Appearing supremely confident, Jarlaxle took a few steps closer, offering Lussuria a friendly smile. "I hardly expected to find you here, but it is not an unwelcome surprise. How are you faring here?"
HOLY CHEESECAKE BATMAN!fredda_morteFebruary 21 2010, 20:06:42 UTC
"Oh I wouldn't be too sure of that Jar~! My aim is always perfect."
He watched as Jarlaxle removed his hat and his eyes went to the dark elf's ears. They were fascinating, they were something he had only seen in movies or costume shops, Lussuria couldn't help but wonder if they improved the elf's hearing.
"Ooh~? Being the mother hen of a bunch or rowdy boys means you have to pick up a few tricks. I'm sure we'd have all starved if I didn't know how to cook. Nfu~! But I'm doing well, I found a family member, though..." Lussuria breaks to chuckle "...he's older. What about you, hm?"
