[In the past week, Dominic's gone from beyond angry to irritated and now to paranoid. Vincent could honestly be planning anything, and while Dominic knows it's probably not a good idea to worry this much, he can't help it.

... He needs tea or coffee--actually, tea sounds better, seeing as how he associates coffee with the colonel, whom he really doesn't need to be reminded of right now.

However, when he enters the cafe, he's surprised to find a familiar face there.]

Hermione?

[At the sound of her name, she looks up, at first a little wary, since the majority of the people she knows in this strange place are people she really doesn't want to talk to, but thankfully, Dominic's not one of them. She breaks out into a smile.]

Dominic. It's nice to see you.

[And here she'll be sliding her book towards her a little, so there's space at the table if you feel like sitting down.]

[Dominic returns the smile, even if it might seem a little stiff. Overall, the past month hasn't exactly been too kind.]

[He sits down, silent for a moment. Hermione's a friend and, from what he's seen, not the most cautious of people. If Vincent ever does act on his threats, then she could be in danger.]

[Hermione marks the page in her book before giving Dominic her full attention. She sips her tea as she replies.]

I've been all right. Malfoy's an annoyance, but no more than usual. You?

[Rhyme is present in the cafe, and is she interested? Oh, very much so! The large book catches her eye and she considers reading over the girl's shoulder, but that would just be rude. So she'll be observing for a moment before her curiousity admittedly gets the better of her.]

[The voice sounds very close to her ear, so she looks, a little surprised at the unfamiliar face.]

[Naomi's had a rough last couple days, so a nice cup of coffee is just what she needs to keep her day from spiraling out of control. However, after getting her fix, the woman can't help but notice Hermione sitting by her lonesome reading and taking notes. Her eyes narrow dangerously as she instantly recognizes the girl.

Without asking, she slips onto an extra chair at the table and folds her hands neatly in her lap.

Her tone is polite, as if asking about the weather.]

What exactly did you have against Yoh?

[The sound of the name causes her to tense. She's been trying not to think about the whole thing since it happened, so she's a little wary as she looks at Naomi. They've spoken only a couple of times, but she gets the feeling that the connection the woman had to Yoh is something deeper than she originally thought.]

[she stirs her tea with a spoon, her tone is just as casual as Naomi's, although a bit forced] I had nothing against him until he not only called me up to mock me, but assaulted me on a deserted street with the help of his friend.

[He said it without thinking that they haven't met, spoken, or anything. He just recognized her scent from her and Draco's house]

[She looks up at this strange young man, puzzled and a bit wary. She knows she's never spoken to this person before, and so she wonders how he could possibly know her.]

[The Café is one of Aya's favorite places, so it's no surprise to find her there. When she spots Hermione, her face lights up and she hurries over.]

Hermione-chan! This is the first time I've seen you out in person. Did you get your wand back?

[It takes her a moment to recognize the face from over the Dreamberry. But once she does, she smiles. Aya is quite unlike most girls she knows. She seems genuinely happy, which is a nice change.]

Aya! It's very nice to meet you in person.

[She moves her book out of the way a little, so there's room on the other side of the table if Aya wishes to sit down.]

[At the mention of her wand, she frowns.]

No, I've yet to convince the right people to help me, so the mission has been put on hold. Unfortunately.
