Who: Yoko and everyone else Where: SOMEWHERE IN ESPOIR Style: I'm starting in third because of my copypastaing lmfao, but first person is fine, too. Status: OPEN!
Oooh la la. Bright sunny day, birds chirping, hangover gone, a couple of people trolled. Life was good, and Loki didn't think it would get any better, until he saw this vision of beauty. And guns. And breasts, holy shit.
"Top of the morning, mademoiselle!" He called as he walked up the street behind her, one hand in a pocket, and the other hand in a jaunty salute.
Lost in her own thoughts, she hadn't even registered that there was someone approaching until a voice suddenly broke the silence she had quickly grown accustomed to. She frowned briefly, more at herself than anything--after all, being unaware of your surroundings was just a great way to start off in a strange new place--before she turned slightly, eyeing the new, completely unfamiliar person.
...Well, at least it wasn't an Anti-Spiral.
"It's certainly nice to finally see someone else around this place." She shifted her rifle slightly, its weight, while familiar, still feeling slightly... odd after having gone so long without it slung over her shoulder. She managed to shoot the man a quick, polite smile, although her hand remained casually placed under the strap of her rifle; the man didn't look dangerous, but in a new place, one could never be too careful. "Mind being helpful and telling me where, exactly, this is?"
"It's certainly nice to see you as well, hmm?" He greeted back, coming up to her and shoving his hands in his pockets. Girl with a massive gun and in a damn bikini, can this day get any better.
"Espoir, milady," he answers. "I take it that you're not from these parts."
Yoko's been around the block enough times to know how to deal with a potentially skeevy guy. For now, she's just going to go with the flow, casually keeping an eye on him, though. Guys these days... seriously, you can never be too sure.
"Not at all. It's certainly a bit of a shock, coming from my little island to a place as... different as this." Her gaze shifts back to the buildings around them. "And inconvenient. How far are we from Kamina City?"
[...well, there is no mistaking that familiar head of blue hair. it may have been forever and a day, but there is no mistaking that.
...is she shocked, though? no. no, not really. there had been, after all, the briefest of moments when she first awoke that perhaps she was trapped in another illusion, another creation of the anti-spirals. they had won, though, hadn't they? they had. but seeing him again, even if he was running away from her... seriously, what the hell, why isn't he coming to help her like he did the last timei>
is something... wrong?]
...Kamina?
[it's not too loud, but it's loud enough to carry; she knows he can hear it. she remains exactly where she is, merely staring after him... although the urge to reach for her rifle is growing by the second. kamina wouldn't run from her, even in an illusion. what if this... isn't him? what if, instead of the anti-spirals placing her in a dream world... what if they placed her in a nightmare?]
[who said anything about running, he's walking. he almost didn't hear her, but he had. he stops for a moment, registering that it was Yoko and...well shit he's still heavily bandaged back from when Derek healed him and he knows what happened. he knows she knows.
after closing his eyes for a moment, that familiar trademark cocky grin formed on his lips before he just turned and raised a hand to her, his voice loud and clear as always]
Yo!
[after seeing Rossiu seven years older, seeing her older as well wasn't too much of a shock. but it did surprise him for a bit]
[you could crawling for all i care; all that matters is that you're headed away from her, and that's just... not what should happen. but when he turns, she's relieved to see the familiar face and feel that familiar tug at her heart, to see that familiar grin. it's... comforting, even though it shouldn't be. if she's back where she thinks she is, it really shouldn't be.
...but what is with those bandages. something's obviously happened to him, but what? what can happen to someone when they're dead? she stares for another second, taking it all in, trying to figure out... well, everything.]
You.... [she pauses for a moment, looking at him. ...he must think they're really pathetic, if he has to keep coming back for them like this.] ...You came back for us, huh? Again....
[WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO SAY, sob. ...and where's that core drill.]
[god damn it why is Kamina such a good escape artist who doesn't know how to use a cell phone. Now he's looking for him. HE CAN'T HAVE GONE FAR--oh, hey]
