Mokona was bouncing around, curious as to why people where acting strangely, when he noticed Subaru.

"Su~ba~ru!" he called, bouncing over to the man.

He had to look for him. He should have been there!

"KAMUIII!!!!" Subaru yelled, leaping onto a half-collapsed building and then to another. He should be able to get a better view on a higher--

The Tower. The Final Battle was supposed to take place at the Tower. He had to go there.

He'd heard the deafening cry and quickly followed the pull of magic to where Subaru was, only to see the young man jump onto the roof of another building.

Seishirou sighed and followed him, quickly catching up.

"Is something the matter, Subaru-kun?" he asked, raising his voice to be heard over the deafening wind.

Mokona saw Seishirou, and, while he wasn't sure if it was Fuuma's brother or not, he seemed to be acting fine.

"Seishirou! Something's wrong with Subaru!"

Subaru nearly tripped as he spun around.

It couldn't be. Taking one step towards Seishirou, he reached out a hand. A ghost? An apparition? His imagination?

"Seishirou-san..."

Seishirou spared a glance towards the small creature and nodded. He would take care of Subaru.

"Yes, Subaru-kun?" He stepped forward and took his hand. A rather... intimate gesture, but from what he had seen around the area, it had a higher probability of snapping the younger man out of whatever hallucination he suffered.

Mokona bounced from Subaru's shoulder to Seishirou's. It was probably slightly safer there.

"Mokona not know what's wrong. Subaru isn't seeing things right."

The hand was warm. "Seishirou-san..." he stared down at where they were connected and then removed his gloves so that he could trace his fingers over Seishirou's skin. The black leather fluttered to the ground, forgotten.

"...where is my sister, Seishirou-san? I couldn't find her in the sakura."

The black thing was perched on his shoulder. "Don't worry," he told it. "I'll make sure he doesn't hurt himself."

He looked back to Subaru. "You sister is buried in Kyoto, Subaru-kun."

Mokona leaned to Seishirou's ear. Subaru had known of Yuuko, at least, maybe Seishirou did as well? "Should Mokona call for Yuuko?"

"Her soul, Seishirou-san..." Subaru asked, more insistently this time, desperation creeping into his voice. "If you have fed her to the Sakura, why can't I find her in it?"

"No," he told the thing. "There is no need to go to Ichihara-san."

He regarded Subaru warily. "Her soul was not fed to the Tree," he explained. "She was a sacrifice for your continued existence."

Mokona nodded, and watched from Seishirou's shoulder, to see what Subaru would do.

Subaru took another step forward to bring himself closer to Seishirou.

"Her soul is free then?" He asked quietly, afraid to believe. He had never expected Seishirou to treat her differently from the rest of his victims. He couldn't feel after all. Could he? "She has passed on?"

He nodded. "She has passed on." The black thing was still sitting on his shoulder. "Thank you for your assistance," he told it.
