Jade could sense blood on the water. Dist was weakening, now the Colonel JUST had to move in for the kill.

"I know you're probably busy moving your Kaiser Dist SM and other belongings to the mansion, but do you think you could do this for me... as a favor?" Jade asked, careful to draw out the proposal. He knew that 'owing' Dist anything was likely going to come back to haunt him, but he couldn't very well blow up the Kaiser Dist SM and bring Dist back in chains.

...Well, technically Jade could, but Nephry would certainly not be happy with it and he preferred not to create friction between him and his little sister. Besides, being chained up might make things difficult for Dist to create something to defend her.

Okay, now Jade was just playing dirty.

"A favor for Jade...?" Dist muttered, rather absently. Jade was asking him to do a favor, to protect Nephry. Really, how could he possibly turn this down?

Really, he could leave at any time. It didn't have to be now. At least, that was what he was telling himself.

Dist smirked as he crossed his arms. "Hmhm, of course! You certainly came to the right person. As always, you know who you can depend on!"

Jade already regretted owing Dist a favor, but it was for a good cause, he supposed. Besides, he could always manipulate just what kind of favor he owed Dist and when he repaid it.

Jade resisted the urge to make some witty retort. Oh, but it was so difficult. Dist had left himself wide open for a plethora of comebacks. Still, Jade somehow managed to resist the urge to sound at least the tiniest bit patronizing. "Of course," he said as he gestured in the direction of the mansion. "Shall we go?"

Dist hesitated a moment before he pressed a button on the Kaiser Dist SM's console. The mighty robot sat down as its chest popped open, revealing itself to be the cockpit hatch.

Dist stood up and posed dynamically, obviously making a great show of his enthusiasm for helping Nephry and Jade owing him a favor. "Naturally~!"

Tear had boxed up the simple things she needed and carried them easily through the streets of Somni, searching for the place in which they were to reside now. A mansion that was quite huge standing in front of her, made her slightly uncomfortable, since it had been a long time since she had been in such a place.

The young maiden had two boxes in general. One contained her bed spreads and things for her bed, as well as clothes that she had, for some certain reasons. Probably a few dolls were hidden underneath that as well. She didn't seem to mention them to anyone, yet.

The other box contained the books and other stuff she had been writing or done during her stay here, along with some sanitary stuff that she needed. The boxes were light since Tear didn't have much to begin with. She kept everything as simple as she could get it. Though, silently agreeing, without knowing why, she would be staying here with a large amount of people.

Much like Tear, Ion didn't need to bring many things with him. Aside from the necessary, he had only decided to bring a very particular selection of books--texts and otherwise--and managed to arrive around the same time as Tear. It had taken several trips to move everything, of course, but everyone had been working towards moving in for a little while now. Finally it looked as though an end was within sight.

"Good morning, Tear," Ion said with a smile. "It's certainly going to be interesting having all of us under one roof again, isn't it?"

Luke, needless to say, had nothing that even needed to be boxed up. Since this mansion would be his first official residence here in Somarium, all he had were the clothes on his back and his sword. The hardest part for him would be finding the place, given that his knowledge of the village was still lacking. Not that finding a manison should have been too hard, even for him.

As he approached, he looked around and folded his arms, trying to see who was already here and who was going in and out the doors. Luke felt a little strange just walking in, even if this place was going to be his new home for a while.

Since people are slow to reply have an unusually social Jade. :3 charmingmaster November 28 2009, 23:20:40 UTC
Jade spotted Luke while surveying the grounds outside the mansion. Since the young Fabre didn't seem to have anything to do the Colonel decided to have an overdue discussion.

"Ah Luke, there you are," Jade said with his typical smile. "I was wondering when you'd show up."

Luke looked up, and then lifted a hand in greeting as Jade approached. "Jade... it's good to see you." This was pretty much the first time since his arrival Luke had seen the colonel, and to be honest, the replica had kind of missed him. He had been afraid before arriving here, that he may never see the older man again. Though, that had gone for most of his friends.

"Is there anything I can do to help? I don't really have anything to move in," Luke said, resting one hand on his hip.

"I can't say I have much in the way of possessions myself, but if you'd like you can help me by moving some furniture," Jade said, never one to pass up an offer of free labor.

"Sure, I guess I can do that." Luke never really liked manual labor, but he had shoved around enough boxes during the adventure to not mind it so much anymore. He shrugged and waved a hand at the door to the mansion.

"Lead the way."

Jade was only too happy to oblige as he started down the hallway towards the room he selected as his office. He had a number of big pieces of furniture he would prefer to be in a more favorable arrangement. "I trust that your stay in Somarium so far hasn't been too unpleasant?"

It didn't take Asch long to arrive at the mansion, given that he also had almost no belongings. He still wasn't too fond of the idea of living with Luke and his friends, but at this point in time he wasn't going to refuse the offer of a place to stay. It was likely more convenient that way, anyway; it would be a lot easier to keep an eye on his replica if he was close by.

Had he arrived first, Asch likely would have just gone right in. But when he got there and saw Luke standing outside, he approached him.

"You could just go in, you know."

"Huh?" Luke looked over to see Asch walking up to him, and was actually kind of surprised to see him there. Was he actually going to be staying there with the rest of them?

"Oh, uh... I know. I was just looking at the place." He waved a dismissive hand, like he wasn't apprehensive to go in.
