Who: Nami and anyone else who finds her. Where: Espoir Village Style: I stay in third, but if anyone replying likes first better, I'm okay with that. Status: Open~!
Nami felt a shudder run through her upon hearing the voice and turned to face it's source with small frown. She didn't like his tone very much, it was unsettling. Of course it would be her luck that the first person she met in this place was someone like him.
"Yes I did~, I was just looking for someone who could help me," she said, after turning her lips into a far-too-pleasant smile to mask her unease. Then her attitude slipped into something more serious and she shifted her clima tact in her hands, "Could you tell me where I am, exactly?"
Haku was just walking by when he noticed the girl's cry. Turning to see who it was, he noticed that the girl looked...familiar. Orange hair...dark eyes...she looked a lot like...
That girl in Sanji's dream!
So THIS was the famous "Nami." Eager for the chance to meet the girl that so enamored his friend, he made his way forward, smiling welcomingly.
"I do." he volunteered. "Are you new to this place?"
Nami had been about to yell out once again, but saw another person approaching her with a kind smile. She put her hand down from the side of her face and blinked once at the... boy (it took her a couple seconds to identify his gender). After a moment, she put on a relieved smile and nodded.
"Yes, I am. I've been looking around for someone for a little while now..." She shifted her weight onto one leg and her smile became more confident and open as she offered a hand to shake, "My name is Nami, what's yours?"
Haku took her hand and shook it firmly. "Haku." he introduced himself. "I've been hoping for a chance to meet you for a while now, Miss Nami. It's a pleasure to finally get the chance."
Surely, after that first dream Sanji had (Haku mentally chuckled at the memory), he had thought a bit about Nami. He had certainly wondered at the time why Sanji was so completely taken in by her. Maybe he could find out now.
Nami stopped short when she heard that voice, eyes going wide. She whipped her head to look down the nearby streets hastily until she heard the sound of hooves on stone. When she saw him running towards her, she put on a joyful open-mouthed smile and let out a relieved breath.
"Chopper!"
She started to make her way towards him and realized then that her heart was pounding and she'd needed to smile so openly to manage her breathing... she had been so worried. The last time she saw Chopper and the rest of the crew had been on the Archipelago... But here he was, safe and sound.
"Hmmm?" Was her initial reaction to the voice. Though such a simple and curt answer to her question caused her to raise a brow and cross her arms under her chest.
It had happened as the young blond was on a stroll, cigarette between lips and hands shoved deep within pockets; Sanji's usual way of holding himself when he was relaxed
( ... )
Nami heard the shout of her name from one... no, two very familiar voices. She froze and her breath caught in her throat. Sanji and Luffy were here too? But before she could react to the initial call of her name, Sanji was circling her like a... well, like Sanji.
"Sanji!" She exclaimed, still in a state of shock and saw Luffy not far behind him, "L-Luffy!" They were safe too, along with Chopper. She never really needed to worry too much about these two (and Zoro of course), monster strength and all... But the last she had seen of them on the archipelago had been more than just a little terrifying. She was at a loss for words for a moment, but noticed her mouth had been gaping and considered shutting it, but ended up laughing happily instead.
"Aha, of course you guys are perfectly fine~" She said a tad dismissively after a moment, but there definitely was a hint of relief in her voice. Then she smiled a little too brightly, "Though, I think I'll have to start charging you for the amount of worry you cause me~!"
The blond is still quite happily hovering over her, his eyes darting everywhere and checking to ensure that shitty-Shichibukai hadn't done anything to his sweet precious Miss Nami.
"I'll pay whatever the costs a thousandfold, mellorine!~♥" Sanji was quite happily relieved that from what he could tell of her naturally flawless form, that she wasn't hurt in the least.
"Ahh~ Thank goodness you're alright and that shitty-bastard didn't do anything to you!" So tied up with the rapture of seeing her, he'd forgotten that time didn't work the way it normally would here in this world.
