In a fit of aggravation, Nami had not too long ago marched her way down the cobblestone street of the odd little village she had found herself in. But now, she could feel her determination to find any sign of a living being that might have answers to her problem waning. She stopped in the middle of the street and closed her eyes, letting out a breath and listened.
Silence.
After a long moment, she pursed her lips and balled her hands into fists, shoulders meeting her ears as she felt frustration build in her chest, threatening to spill out her throat in a very un-lady-like scream. Swallowing it down and opening her eyes, she looked down the nearest streets and decided to take a more vocal approach to finding someone.
“Hello?” She called out, one hand cupped around her mouth. “Does anyone live in this place?”
