Minako looked around worriedly. She and Ada had been camping out on the second floor, since it was relatively safer, but she heard monsters from downstairs, and was worried. Telling Ada to stay there, she ventured to the first floor.

"Is everyone alright down here?"

So someone else was in here. He glanced over his shoulder to where he heard the girl's voice coming from.

"I'm all right over here. I haven't encountered any others yet," he called out. "Some of the monsters have gotten in; you should be careful."

The 15-year-old carefully followed the sound of the voice. "I can take care of myself, don't worry. Ada-chan is still upstairs, though."

She came around a corner, and spotted Hakkai.

"If you can, that's good, then," he replied. Anyone who could would probably need to, after all.

He turned and saw her at the end of the hall. "Hello there," he called. "Do you know if anyone else is in here?"
