Shigure had done little exploring since arriving in Somarium. In fact, he had kept to his usual lazy habits by sleeping until noon and bugging Hatori for entertainment. Aside from the library and a few other places close by, there had been very few things to draw the novelist out of his reclusive tendencies

It wasn't really the scrapping sound that his wooden shoes had made against the pavement that made the Witch look up from her cup of sake. It was how the air had suddenly fluxed, how it had changed from slightly pulsating with the mystical powers the world of Somarium was founded on to the waves of a spiritual presence. For a moment, Yuuko would not have been surprised to see the Rain Spirit that often visited her in her world. But the longer she felt the presence, the easier it became for her to discern the animalistic tone of it, though it was nothing like the Fox Spirit that kept the oden shop Watanuki was so found of

Shigure was a man of many talents, but there were a few that he had to thank his curse for. His sense of smell and hearing was much stronger than a normal human. But he barely had to rely on those to detect the change in her demeanor as her eyes fell on him. She appeared to be slightly surprised to see him, but a little more than he might have expected. The novelist had wondered whether or not, as a witch, she would be able to figure out that he was cursed. He had written a book or two with topics about witchcraft, but research on that kind of practice might vary from world to world

Once their skin made contact to one another, she could feel that the young man was under a curse. It was hard to discern what it was, with all the animalistic spiritual pressure she felt around him as well. She was tempted to ask directly what was the nature of his curse, but she refrained herself. She would find out, one way or another, she was almost sure of it.
The physical contact felt slightly foreign to her even if it never showed on her face. The last person she had touched had been Watanuki while the last person reaching for her like that had been Clow, centuries before her present time. Still, she looked at Shigure through half-lidded eyes while he kissed the back of her hand.
"You flatter me too much, Sohma-kun...."
She watched him look at the bottle of alcohol and smiled at him, pulling back the sleeve of her kimono to expertly pour the rice wine into the empty cup.
"Then, please, join me for one cup..." she said, though her tone implied that she wouldn't mind his company for a longer period.
Cornelia placed the back of her hand to her forehead, and wiped the sweat from her brow. The jog had nearly wiped her out. Towards the end, the sun had been beating down on her so hard that she could scarcely finish the six miles before collapsing. Her breathing was still uneven as she placed the damp towel to the back of her neck and began her walk back to Somni.
Stopping for a moment, she snapped the top of the bottle off and took a long gulp of water. As it went down, she was shocked to hear voices nearby. Usually, she didn't run into people during this part of her journey back to her apartment. In fact, that was her whole reason for taking this route. The peace and quiet. Out of curiosity, she stepped from behind the tree that seemed to be blocking her view and her eyes widened as soon as she recognized the woman sitting at the table with a miniature creature of some kind.
The witch...It was the woman who granted wishes. Cornelia had held off on visiting her because she knew that the prospect of making a pact that was

Yuuko stood up as the two women made eye-contact. She nodded back to the purple haired woman with a smile, though her face didn't betray any emotions.
"Ah, yes. I remember our conversation, Cornelia-san. How have you been?" she asked as she sat back down, her opened hand gesturing to the chair beside her.
The Witch noted the appearance of the princess: sweaty, flushed and slightly out of breath. It was oblivious that the young woman had been running a few moments ago. And from the shape she seemed in, the black haired woman could easily guess that the princess did such an exercise every day. Yuuko looked at the black, round and fuzzy ball with a soft smile:
"Mokona, would you mind getting Cornelia-san some tea? I am sure she would prefer it to a cup of sake after such a demanding training."
She then looked back at her guest, settling in her chair before taking a sip of her sake.
"Tell me Cornelia-san. What do I owe you this visit?" she asked politely, though the Witch had a pretty good idea already.
Cornelia nodded. "I have been fine. And yourself?" She took a seat across from Yuuko, her posture remaining stiff as her hands settled neatly in her lap. Her gaze followed the little animal that she had referred to as Mokono. She certainly hadn't expected it to talk. But, then again, she had gotten used to seeing all types of weird things since appearing in somarium. A furball with long ears and the ability to speak was hardly something to gawk over.
Her chin lifted slightly at Yuuko's last question. Better to get right to the point. "I am certain that you have an idea of what I came to speak to you about." She glanced down at her attire and then bit her lip, looking somewhat embarrassed. "Even if it was not planned." Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, her lavender eyes settled on the other woman's. "Please tell me about your terms and conditions for wish making."
Well if you don't mind, I'll be more than willing to join you. [and sits and takes the cup~] I'm guessing your name is Yuuko if what the little black furball said was in reference to you.
[ooc:....I just saw >_< Sorry for the fail <33 But yes, it would cost for Rita to know those things. Basically, it can be knowledge for knowledge. Yuuko would ask for her spellbook I think. You can PM on AIM (Nueva YuiMaxwell) or on IRC (Estelle, Yuuko or Lloyd) to discuss this if you want <33]
No, not really....But you're welcome to try it if you want.

Of course I am! Though it would be more enjoyable, I'm sure, if you'd join us!

[She's just sort of... wandering around Somarium. Oh, look, something interesting going on. Let's go take a look.]
... A wine shop?

No, not really....But you're welcome to try it if you want.

This shop is here to grant wishes you might have.

... No thanks. I don't really like the taste.

......
Wishes, huh. Not that I believe you, but how're you supposed to do that?

It's quite simple actually. All lies on the equivalency principle. You pay a price equivalent to the wish you have and I grant that wish....
