When Iris woke up that morning, she found that the wolf goddess was no where to be seen. She knew that Amaterasu can take care of herself but that doesn't stop the nun from worrying about her new friend. The woman went out of her cottage, searching for the wolf.

After going around the village for a while, she spotted a young girl having trouble with her footing. Iris squinted because of the light radiating from the girl. When she got close enough, the nun felt a strange wave of deja vu come over her (maybe it had something to do with the familiar markings or the wolf ears).

She called out to the young girl "Hello. Are you all right?"

Amaterasu stumbled at the voice, falling on her knees once before biting her lip, a mistake considering her sharp teeth. Wiping her mouth once she whined inwardly at the softness this human body had. The voice was familiar however. Turning her head slowly, her eyes met hers.

"..I'm fine, Iris. Just fine." Her expression was light as she laughed once, wanting to go over and hug the girl but Iris didn't recognize her. Not in this form.

"Oh! Careful..." Iris quickly rushed to the girl's side, wrapping one arm around her shoulder and one around her waist to support the girl. Afraid the girl might stumble again, the nun held on a little longer. She'll only let until she was sure the young girl can stand on her feet.

She was surprised when the girl called her name. She wrinkled her brow, trying to remember if she had spoken to her on the Dreamberry. When she thought about it, this person seemed very familiar and very warm.

Like the friend she was looking for earlier.

Iris smiled. "Ammy? Is that you?"

Amaterasu's ears twitched faintly, as she nodded thanks in a soft, gentle smile. "Thank you..I really appreciate it. It's been kind of difficult moving about in this way.."

Lifting her head up once, her eyes widened a bit. She couldn't contain her grin and smiled up at her, her serene features brightening. "H-How did you know it was me, Iris? " She grabbed one of her hands with her clawed ones, her amber eyes shining.

Pfff. Gale believes in data, not gods~

For Gale the similarity of this girl to those under the effects of the Pulinpa spell was too close to be ignored. The same wobbling stance and dazed expression...although the latter was only slight. Perhaps it was wearing off. He paused in his walking and watched her, quiet.

It wasn't safe for someone to be wandering about alone while under such an effect. It wouldn't take too much of his time to see her through it.

"Are you all right?"

Amaterasu blinked once or twice, her eyes widening as she turned to blink at the observer. Her expression was sheepish and light as she stumbled to her feet, falling forward once. "I-I'm fine I think. Not used to this form, is all."

Gale approached her, setting a hand on her shoulder to steady her. "You aren't normally human...?"

This was unusual. She didn't look like a demon. She had no Atma that he could see, and aside from her strange hair color he didn't see anything odd about her. With this coloration, she could have easily blended into the Junkyard.

Oh Amaterasu doesn't mean that kind of love. She means glomp/tackle/mother love. C:

She swayed a bit, her wide eyes meeting his as she blinked once or twice. She smiled a bit sheepishly. "Y-Yes indeed..this isn't exactly my typical form. But I can't communicate otherwise with humans. My name is Amaterasu by the way. Okami Amaterasu. I'm a god, actually." Her tone was light, conversational, as if she were talking of the weather.

Well this was a bit of a surprise. At first Tsume thought the girl was some newcomer, but the scent -- that distinctive scent -- caught his attention. That and those markings were pretty damn familiar.

"So that's your true form."

[just stares at her for a moment before leaning over a bit to tug at an ear. normally this would have been equivalent to him gently nipping at it as a wolf, but thanks to Somarium weirdness, the action is actually being done by human hand (a thing he's STILL getting used to)]
