Pfff. Gale believes in data, not gods~ honor_tactics May 10 2009, 11:42:14 UTC
For Gale the similarity of this girl to those under the effects of the Pulinpa spell was too close to be ignored. The same wobbling stance and dazed expression...although the latter was only slight. Perhaps it was wearing off. He paused in his walking and watched her, quiet.

It wasn't safe for someone to be wandering about alone while under such an effect. It wouldn't take too much of his time to see her through it.

"Are you all right?"

Amaterasu blinked once or twice, her eyes widening as she turned to blink at the observer. Her expression was sheepish and light as she stumbled to her feet, falling forward once. "I-I'm fine I think. Not used to this form, is all."

Sorry, he's taken. XD By a very pretty hermaphrodite~ honor_tactics May 11 2009, 12:20:09 UTC
This...form?

Gale approached her, setting a hand on her shoulder to steady her. "You aren't normally human...?"

This was unusual. She didn't look like a demon. She had no Atma that he could see, and aside from her strange hair color he didn't see anything odd about her. With this coloration, she could have easily blended into the Junkyard.

Oh Amaterasu doesn't mean that kind of love. She means glomp/tackle/mother love. C: x_smiling_sun May 11 2009, 22:25:50 UTC
She swayed a bit, her wide eyes meeting his as she blinked once or twice. She smiled a bit sheepishly. "Y-Yes indeed..this isn't exactly my typical form. But I can't communicate otherwise with humans. My name is Amaterasu by the way. Okami Amaterasu. I'm a god, actually." Her tone was light, conversational, as if she were talking of the weather.

He was silent for a moment. "What is a 'god'?"

She blinked once, before smiling some. "A God is a sentinent being that rules over life. Usuually they are worshipped in some sort, but I much prefer getting to know them instead of being worshipped by said worshippers." The wolf-god smiled some, ears wagging upwards.

It was a bit obvious from the look on Gale's face that he didn't entirely comprehend this whole "god" thing. "But if these 'gods' rule over life, why do they curse human beings?"

She frowned. "Most gods...aren't like that. Truly they aren't. But some are more mischevious with others..playing with human's emotions and feelings.." She put a clawed hand to his face, her expression narrowed. " I can see it. A great monster that is wrapped around you. You're sick somewhere, aren't you? The darkness of it is too strong for me to break..." Her expression was somber.
[She can see the monster you have as a curse. Hope that is alright. ]

((ooc: Yeah, that's fine. :D Would she sense that this "monster" is part of Gale himself?))

Gale froze as the...god placed her hand on his face. He was unused to physical contact aside from a pat on the back from Cielo, or Serph's hand on his shoulder. What was she...?

He tilted his head in curiosity as she spoke. "You can see Vayu? What is 'sick'?"

The entity did not ooze malevolence as was probably expected. There was sentience here, and great power. But an underlying hunger as well.

She frowned. "It's hungry, very hungry. And lonely. It wants to put things into itself..but those things shouldn't be inside of it.." Her expression was grave. "This causes you lots of trouble doesn't it?"

Lonely? Vayu didn't seem lonely. Mostly it was just hungry. And besides, the Tribe had demons inside of them as well. Surely loneliness wasn't part of it...

But he had to admit, he did want to see that woman again. Angel. He couldn't explain it. She had attempted to murder him and his Tribe, had tried to convince Sera to leave them all behind. Something about her...he recognized her from his dreams, and the fragments of images he had experienced in the Junkyard.

He had to know why. Why the demons, why the dreams, why Sera...and why she had been crying.

"It can be troublesome. But in combat its presence is a great help."
