Obligatory Precure Stuff

[There was a weird sensation creeping up Tsubomi's spine as she was out and about doing some last minute shopping. Suddenly, Chypre squeaked and moved in Tsubomi's jacket.]

Tsubomi, something's here!

What?

Onore, Precure!

[Suddenly there's a tugging at Tsubomi's bag. A tinsel feeler has found one of the boxed presents she had had wrapped at the store, and has snatched it up.]

Re: Onore, Precure!

Ah! The present I got for Yuri-san! [Tsubomi makes a lunge for it, and so does Chypre!]

[Gah! A tug of war ensues!

Nooo, this present belongs to evil now!]

[was just wandering around, lost. though he was definitely sure he was going in the right direction this time.

he just wasn't expecting a present to be passing him being dragged by tinsel.]

...Huh. Well that's interesting.

[The trail ends at the main plaza, and the sight of the monstrous Christmas tree reeling in the presents it has snagged from all around Somni.

Eas is watching its progress with a satisfied smile. But just then, she senses movement behind her in the shadows-]

Who is there? Show yourself!

[knightofchanges]

[and have a familiar looking cheerful knight just jogging in.]

I knew you put presents under the tree, but I never thought a tree could take them for their own!

[fromlabyrinth]

Oh. It's you.

[She crosses her arms and walks towards him.] And just what do you want?

[orangeglow_heal]

[She had been wrapped up under a cover, ready to head to sleep when all of a sudden, there was this rustling noise that sounded like it was coming from the living room]

What is that?

[Curious, Polka gingerly makes her way out of her bed and into the living room, as she sees that some of her presents were missing! And there appeared to be some shreds of wrapping paper littering the floor, making a path out of the house]

What is going on here?

[she grabs her umbrella and is now following the trail!]

[As Polka follows the trail, at times she could swear that she senses movement from up ahead... and stranger still, it seems to glint.

Eventually it leads her to the main plaza, bathed in red light, watching as the tree reels in all the presents it collected through the night.

Eas is standing in front of the tree, her back turned to where Polka is. She doesn't seem to have noticed Polka yet.]

[The sight she saw was a little hard to believe at first. A tree that stole presents?!? And yet, here it was, right in front of Polka.

She could spot the silhoutte of a girl nearby the tree. Was she the one controlling it? Or was she just being used by it?

She wasn't sure, but one thing was for certain, she didn't like the look of things]

Hey, stop that! Stop stealing all of the presents!

People worked hard to buy and wrap those!

[her umbrella was in her hand, ready incase she had to fight]

[Eas turns around to face Polka, the smirk on her face evident.]

So they come.

Nakewameke! Restrain the child. [She points at Polka, and two tinsel feelers shoot out to grab her.]

Just what the hell are these things?

[A frustrated Touma was currently chasing after several tinsel tentacles dragging away Christmas presents. He had witnessed them shamelessly raid someone of their newly purchased gifts and has been giving chase since. The presents managed to always stay barely out of his reach as if the thing dragging them away was taunting him.]

[The tinsel whips back and forth down the street, leading Tohma straight to the central plaza where the monstrous tree sits. He arrives just in time to see its newest acquisitions swallowed by the body of the tree, and to see the girl standing in front of it, observing with a satisfied and evil grin on her face.]

[A malicious Christmas Tree was certainly an unexpected sight. Touma watched in bewilderment as the animated Christmas Tree swallowed up the presents he failed to retrieve. He soon turned his attention to the girl standing at the base of it. Most likely she was the one commanding it with some sort of supernatural power.]

Oi, little girl! What the hell are you doing?

Little... girl?

I am no mere girl, human. My name is Eas. Denizen of Labyrinth, and faithful servant to Lord Moebius!

[ Hikaru had finished wrapping one of his gifts, when suddenly a rope of tinsel wrapped itself around her present dragging it off. She blinks, not understanding what happened until her door open. It was taking her present! She grabs her coat running after the tinsel bandit!]

Stop! That present doesn't belong to you!

[The tinsel rope leads Hikaru on a merry chase through the streets, whipping back and forth through the air. Finally it reaches its origin, the monstrous tree taking up the central plaza of the shopping district, now with multiple tinsel feelers waving about.

Eas stands in front of the tree, watching its progress with a clearly-visible evil smirk on her face. She doesn't seem to have noticed Hikaru.]
