It'd only been a few days since Ouka had arrived, but she was already getting the hang of things here in Somarium. She missed her family, but having Omi here with her helped a great deal. Especially since... well... he'd called her important. Important to him ( Read more... )

No matter how many times it happened, Weiss always seemed to fail at properly warning those they loved on how to protect themselves. Had something to do with protecting them from themselves or some ridiculous crap that Schuldig would never understand.

As it was, he was certain Tsukiyono had tried with the little princess the question was just how well--a repeat performance of their last encounter, although with a slightly different ending here in Somarium, would be an interesting time. Running into the girl while out and about was just luck on his part.

She'd just managed to forget all about what had gotten her so worked up in the first place, when Ouka rounded the corner and... spotted a familiar, orange-haired man not too far off. For a moment, she considered just turning around and walking as fast as she could in the opposite direction until she was far, far away from him (Omi would've been proud.)

But that wasn't exactly how Ouka operated. And, dammit, she wanted to give him a piece of her mind, for leading her on and making her think that he was a friend of Omi's. (Though, in his defense, Schuldig had said no such thing.) She hesitated for a brief moment, debating in her mind what to do.

Finally, she decided that the streets were crowded enough that there was no way Schuldig could do anything dangerous. So, instead of walking away, Ouka steeled herself and walked straight toward him.

It was rather obvious by the way she approached him, and well...her thoughts, that someone failed to warn her just how dangerous he could be proving once again why the bad guys were better. Because, surely if someone cared enough they would have made absolutely sure Ouka knew Schuldig was a) extremely dangerous and b) didn't care if he was in public or not.

He let her get closer before offering up a greeting to the silly thing, "Hello Miss Ouka, it's so nice to see you again."

Had she been told just what Schulig was capable of, Ouka would probably have acted differently. But, as it stood, the words "he's dangerous" could've been interpreted in many different ways. And Ouka was taking it far more lightly than she should have.

He was so calm about everything. It frustrated her even more to see him just stand there and greet her in such a way. She stops in front of him, and places her hands on her hips.

"Just how, exactly, do you know Omi-kun?"

Forget greetings, from the sounds of it, you don't really deserve one anyways.
