[OH, LOOK! That was quicker then he thought! He thought people only came around to trick-or-treat on the 31st, and by coming out of trees, but maybe he was wrong. So, he writhed about as much as he could, glared and...]
BOO!
[And then he cuts off, blinking in confusion... Because only then did he realize that he recognized the 'trick-or-treater'. Whoops. Attempt at scaring wasted.]
... Oh! Uh! [Whoops?] Hello? [Hopefully he wasn't so terrifying that he scared Meta Knight off.]
What? [That guy must have nerves of steel!] I thought they were just fine! What're you even doing up there? Did you decide to go trick-or-treating in your normal mask? Sort of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? [All he knew is it was a day humans used to pretend they were other people.]
[... And here's Wheatley, not hearing Cid over the sound of his own shouting.]
I mean it! No one will come near, if the swarms don't get candy from your house, I hear they'll come back with eggs! What if they're combustible eggs?! Then you'll have a burnt down house, and no one to blame but yourself!
He wasn't trick or treating about but Allen could recognize that voice quite clearly. It didn't take him long to find the source much to his mild amusement hidden behind the concern.
"Wheatley? How did you end up in this mess this time?" He really did his best to cover up any hint of amusement out of respect for the sentient construct.
There was only a moment of confusion as Wheatley didn't automatically receive the data he needed about meeting this boy before, but eventually it popped up. He was the kid with the bird!
"It's not like I want to be in 'messes' at all! I was abducted! Kidnapped!"
That bird was also now grinning at Wheatley from behind Allen before flying up close tilting his front at the AI inquisitively.
Right kidnapped. Allen didn't have the heart to say that it wasn't all that unreasonable since he did look more object than a living being. Allen had experience with contructs like him so of course he didn't make that kind of mistake.
"That sounds horrible. I take it you would like a helping hand in escaping?"
The instant Wheatley caught sight of it, he jerked, as if he wanted to roll back away from it, his eye shrinking in slight panic. The last thing he wanted was to go flying again.
I wont just scare off the trick-or-treaters either! No one'll come near your house, ever again! You'll just be stuck in a house no one wants to go near for the rest of your lives! Think about all the money you wasted on your lawn! No one's gonna look at it because they'll be too busy running in terror!
[Obviously, Wheatley was too busy trying to get freed to notice.]
