[Lightning, not one for festivities, is off to the side leaning against a particularly large stack of hay bales, merely observing. It was nice, even if she wasn't an active participant, and the buzz and excitement around the area was a quiet, comforting reminder of the way Bodhum used to be.

She's open to conversation, she might even move closer to the flames during colder breezes, but she mostly stays perched and solitary.]

[This stunt hadn't been made to impress anyone, nor to be actually seen by anyone either. Desmond had simply taken run to the village, choosing to come down from the rooftops he uses to train to see what was the commotion around the fires. And so when the young woman walks up to him and stops short of inches in front of him, the novice is a bit surprised.]

What? [He blinks and shakes his head, catching on the sarcasm. He can't help but smirk a little] Thanks. But I guess it wasn't as soundless as I wanted it to be.

[She's rather adept to free-running as well, she even has a nifty gravity disabler available to her at the snap of her fingers. Had she known, she'd offer tips in her slightly condescending fashion, but as it stands she can't help the amused snicker.]

You should probably work on that, then.

[If he's going to keep doing it, anyway. She darts her eyes around the area, looking for whatever perch he might've dropped from. Her eyes land on the chapel, and she quirks an eyebrow.]

[Well, if she's cheating, it doesn't count. And condescending or not, Desmond would have been most likely not to listen to any of her advices. Not because of arrogance, but simply because he had a Master Assassin that is training him already. One teacher is enough. He gives her a rather amused look at her comment]

You should have heard me the first time I landed.

[It has actually been as silent as his ancestors are able to pull off. Too bad it was just beginner's luck]

[She steps forward a foot or two, now taking interest in the hay stack her mysterious new acquaintance landed in.]

Was it any louder than that? [Said like she's already assumed "yes."]

[He smirks almost smugly before he remembers that ego is what gets his ancestors into troubles in the first place]

No, actually. The pile of hay was bigger, so the landing was actually quieter.

[He gave the chapel nearby another look] Even though the jump was about from the same height than this one.
