[It took awhile for Narcissa to arrive, she's still not quite used to Somarium just yet. But when she does walk in, it didn't take her long at all to spot him. He was there, right there. Her hands cover her mouth as she walked as fast as she could to him, embracing him very tightly.]
Oh, darling... [Cupping his face with her hands, kissing his forehead, and just stroking his face with her fingers. Tears already began to form again. Geez, Draco. STOP MAKING HER CRY.]
Please don't ever do that again. [Meaning hanging up on her and keeping his distance for a few days. Another kiss to the forehead and embracing him once more.]
[in hindsight, he should have expected that she would hug him like that. It was a good thing he had risen to his feet upon her arrival, making sure that she could spot him through the crowd - blond hair tended to act as a bit of a beacon, he'd found.
[He was largely silent throughout the kisses and the embraces and her chastising words, so soft and hurt; he remembered vividly her face as she had begun to cry not too long ago, and it was that coupled with the homesickness that had plagued Draco for two years now that made him hug her back. He avoided her eyes slightly, ducking his head apologetically when she wasn't pressing kisses to his face.]
I'm sorry, Mother. I am. [he tucks his chin over her shoulder in the following embrace, holding her tight to him as well. Merlin, he's missed her way too much.]
[She was so happy she can hug him, kiss him, and just be here with him. The thought of him keeping to himself from her brings tears to her eyes. But now she's just happy that he's here and alive.
So she cups his face again to look at him and smiles.]
I'm just so glad you're safe. [And together again. She fixes his hair a little now and strokes his cheek with her thumb.]
I'm fine, Mother. [he offers her a little smile when she tips his face up to look at her - and how nice it is to be able to do so again - and lets his hands linger on her shoulders. She looks slightly older than she should, as if she's aged from worry.] Really, I am. I've...
[he pauses, looking thoughtful for a long moment.] This place isn't so bad, once you're used to it.
