There was something to be said for taking time to yourself. It was only the few days he'd spent on his own, the one he'd spent with Harry, and all the thinking he'd done the last while that allowed him to be so collected as he waited, deep in the cafe. He had faith that his mother would find him - Narcissa had that skill, as if mothers could inherently find their sons - even though he was tucked away in the corner of the room, eyes locked on the front door.
Draco wasn't entirely sure what he would say to her upon her arrival, but he knew that an apology would likely be high on the list.
