Well, this was unexpected. Muraki's eyebrows arched as he saw the atypically subdued Belphegor arrive and pointed at the rack of hooks near the door, where his own wet raincot rested already.

"I take it the others are missing?" he asked, not wanting to assume anything worse.

Most people would say it was impossible to ignore the redhead anytime he was in a room, but he could be forgiving of someone who was distracted. It made it easier to observe things while others were unwary.

Also made it more fun to announce himself. He stepped into view and answered, "Why yes, he is."

Schuldig could always appreciate a dramatic scene; however, he was usually the one creating the scene. And while he didn't mind the rain, the idea of getting stuck in the rising waters without knowing the future was secure was something else. Although, he had to admit this was one hell of a way to get introduced to a new world.

Hanging up his jacket he has to laugh, "I'd apologize for the water but it is a bit unavoidable at the moment."

"There's no need to apologize. If you're too wet, I have a dryer for your clothes and towels for the rest of you." Not a word about spare clothes, since he didn't assume his guests would want to strip completely nude around strangers and figured they'd be fine in boxers. After all, the only people here would be men.

Muraki shut the curtains a moment later and turned around to face Schuldig more directly. "This city certainly keeps things from ever being dull for long. It's a pity you weren't here for Christmas."

"A towel would be appreciated," Schuldig's clothes weren't wet enough to bother him, at least not since having once more or less swam in them, this was nothing; however, his hair was going to be a mess and that would annoy him endlessly.

"Oh, I don't know; I rather enjoyed my Christmas." Part of the fun of having a sociopathic, religiously fanatical teammate was the joy of Christian holidays.

Muraki wandered into the guest bathroom, grabbed a towel, and tossed it at Schuldig when he came out.

"At one point, the entire city became edible. Some of the frosting snow ended up soaked in blood."
