With the curtains open, Muraki's white skin, hair and clothes stood out starkly against the black rain and darkness of the long night they'd found themselves trapped in since the storm began. He enjoyed a bit of the dramatic every now and then, though he wasn't sure if his guests would appreciate the contrast as they came into the house. For all he knew, they'd want him to shut the windows so they didn't have to see the rain any more than necessary.
He had plenty of food, since he'd decided to stock up when the storm began, and even with a simple gas stove, if the power went out, Muraki could keep them all fed. Running water could be troublesome, but he'd cross that bridge if it happened. For now, all he had to do was wait for his guests to arrive and hope that things didn't get too violent or annoying until the water receded.
