[Terezi has stayed mostly dry by settling herself on top of her desk. She certainly wasn't going to be the one to leave first. But when she hears Karkat, she lets out a long-suffering sigh and leans over to nudge the door open with an outstretched hand. It's a good thing she left it cracked, or she'd be trapped in here.

Still perched on her desk, she tilts her head at him.]

Yes, that might be a good idea.

[ he thinks she looks... hilarious, perched on her desk like some kind of unaffiliated cat with fur standing on end. it's funny, how she thinks she's going to get out of this any less than saturated through to the bone. the rain is still coming down in buckets (whoops) outside, and it won't stay too dry in this house for long.

not that it's all that dry anyway, but i digress.

usually, he'd offer her a lift on his back or take her hand and lead her through the flood. but lately, they've been anything but usual. he jerks his head in what is probably a gesture meaning get the fuck off that desk and follow me. he starts towards the front door. ]

[If she could visibly roll her eyes, she so would. But whoops, no pupils. She frowns and eases herself off of the desk into the water, making a face as it reaches up to her waist. It's a little more difficult than usual for her to get her bearings with all of this water drenching everything, but she manages to follow him to the door. Completely silent the whole way, of course.]

[ nope, this sure isn't awkward at all. not in the slightest. he takes the easiest path to the front door, kicking shit out of the way as it floats past his feet. he doesn't know how well she can see with all this rain, and the last thing he wants is for her to stumble and fall face-first into what is starting to look like the eternal depths of hell. black water, he didn't think humans had something as badass as that.

he opens the front door and steps out into the rain. if he'd thought it through earlier, he might have decided to bring an umbrella. unfortunately, he doesn't own one. no that any of that matters anyway, because he's soaked up his ass already, with the water only climbing higher. ]
