[He hadn't really been paying attention to his surroundings. Knitting tends to focus him enough to keep him occupied, but is repetitive enough that he can let his mind drift.]
I thought that they might be pretty. They hold electricity well enough that they'll only need charging every so often.

That is, of course, when he stumbles across England knitting... Christmas lights? He isn't sure until the Mareep sends sparks of electricity through it, anyway. Which... just makes all the ~Christmas excitement~ in him grow.]

It's mareep wool. I thought that since they use electrical attacks, their wool must be rather conductive. I was right.

That's really cool. [He's pretty much staring at the lights too, trying to not reach out and touch the wool as it sparkles. He kind of knows that will only result in an electric shock, at least.]
