#010 [Video/Action] Near Nanao's house in Goldenrod

[England is sitting a short way away from the house, knitting needles in hand and looking immensely focussed on what he's doing. There's a pile of yellow yarn next to him, and he's knitting what looks to be a rope with intermittent globes dangling from it. He mutters to himself as he works. As usual, Whitby the Golbat is curled up against his chest

[Conveniently, America has just spent a few hours doing some shopping (yes, most of it is for food, shush) and had taken the long route around from the Breeding Centre to get a walk at the same time. It's a bit too cold to go jogging or anything like that, so having at least some exercise is a good thing. It would be kind of hard to run in the attire he's wearing as well, what with him covered in two coats, a scarf and two pairs of gloves.

That is, of course, when he stumbles across England knitting... Christmas lights? He isn't sure until the Mareep sends sparks of electricity through it, anyway. Which... just makes all the ~Christmas excitement~ in him grow.]

How did you do that?! [Never mind the fact that he forgot to even say hello- Oops.]

[England looks up startled at the sudden intrusion, and he flushes a little at the sight of America's genuine eagerness.]

It's mareep wool. I thought that since they use electrical attacks, their wool must be rather conductive. I was right.

[Don't mind him while he steps closer to peek at it better. It's all exciting stuff as he hasn't really seen a Mareep in person yet.]

That's really cool. [He's pretty much staring at the lights too, trying to not reach out and touch the wool as it sparkles. He kind of knows that will only result in an electric shock, at least.]

[He feels a bit awkward. It has been a long time since America has cared about anything that he's done.]

[Well, it's a nicer greeting than he'd expected - not like he was actually thinking about it now anyway. Not with this excitement going on.]

Awesome. I can use it after Christmas is even over with then and use it as lights in the room I'm staying in. [It's likely to annoy whoever he's staying with but... he doesn't really care to be honest. Oops.]

[He blinks at that.] Uh... I've kinda got... quite a few Pokemon now.

[He looks sheepish. Don't... ask him to name them though, Madison was safe as it's kind of a girls name too but-]

[He pauses, thinking this over before-] Eight! I mean, one just came to me recently, no idea why but she came to the breeding centre when I was there so... [He shrugs.]

Eight. That's rather a lot. I feel bad for never having enough time to spend with mine. I'd worry if I had more.

[He kind of raises an eyebrow at that.]

Well, Liberty it's kinda hard to, she needs water if she's out. I spend a lot of time with the others though, and they have all the other Pokemon to play with at the centre so. [He shrugs a little.]

Yes, I can see how that would be difficult. I'm glad that they're getting attention. Something tells me that they'd need it.
