[England is sitting a short way away from the house, knitting needles in hand and looking immensely focussed on what he's doing. There's a pile of yellow yarn next to him, and he's knitting what looks to be a rope with intermittent globes dangling from it. He mutters to himself as he works. [Envy hasn't been going outside the house much since he arrived in Goldenrod, but upon seeing England apparently knitting outside for some reason, his curiosity has overcome his desire to not be cold.]

[He's approaching just as Wales lights the string up. Which is very interesting and also just raises more curiosity.]

What are those for?

[He hadn't really been paying attention to his surroundings. Knitting tends to focus him enough to keep him occupied, but is repetitive enough that he can let his mind drift.]

I thought that they might be pretty. They hold electricity well enough that they'll only need charging every so often.

[He does remember all the lights that were put up last December, come to think of it. He looks at the electrified yarn with interest.]

[Conveniently, America has just spent a few hours doing some shopping (yes, most of it is for food, shush) and had taken the long route around from the Breeding Centre to get a walk at the same time. It's a bit too cold to go jogging or anything like that, so having at least some exercise is a good thing. It would be kind of hard to run in the attire he's wearing as well, what with him covered in two coats, a scarf and two pairs of gloves.

That is, of course, when he stumbles across England knitting... Christmas lights? He isn't sure until the Mareep sends sparks of electricity through it, anyway. Which... just makes all the ~Christmas excitement~ in him grow.]

How did you do that?! [Never mind the fact that he forgot to even say hello- Oops.]

It's mareep wool. I thought that since they use electrical attacks, their wool must be rather conductive. I was right.

[Don't mind him while he steps closer to peek at it better. It's all exciting stuff as he hasn't really seen a Mareep in person yet.]

That's really cool. [He's pretty much staring at the lights too, trying to not reach out and touch the wool as it sparkles. He kind of knows that will only result in an electric shock, at least.]
